Sanjeeda Shaikh has carved a special space in the heart of the audience with her role as 'Waheeda' in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The actress, in a nutshell, did proper justice to her role and left everyone in awe. Talking about her personal life, the actress got married to Aamir Ali back in 2012. It was in 2018 when they welcomed their baby girl, Arya, into their lives via surrogacy. However, in 2021, Sanjeeda and Aamir were granted divorce. Recently, we stumbled upon a video of the actress, wherein she stated that her past life is a closed chapter to her and also added how her father's demise had made her strong.
In a video, which has been doing rounds on social media, Sanjeeda Shaikh talked about one of the hard phases of her life. The actress mentioned that her father bid farewell to the world on his marriage anniversary, and such an incident has made her a stronger person. Sanjeeda stated that she didn't cry, and used to hold her tears in front of everyone, while she used to howl and cry behind the locked doors as it was the loss of her most favourtite person. The actress added that she had witnessed her brother crying and howling.

Sharing more about the same, Sanjeeda mentioned that she likes men who can cry and express their emotions. She also added how, even in today's time, men and women are judged based on their gender, which she doesn't like at all. Going forward in the video, Sanjeeda Shaikh mentioned that her dad used to wake up every day thanking god for the kind of lovely wife he had gotten. The actress added that it feels good to let people know that some couples find solace in one another even after being together for so many years.
Sanjeeda Shaikh called this beautiful and mentioned that in her personal life, an incident took place, which is now a closed chapter, and she doesn't talk about it as she had preceded from there. She remarked that there's a new chapter in her life, and she likes talking about the same.

In an interview with Hauterrfly, Sanjeeda shared that she was very happy about whatever had happened to her. The actress stated that some men try to put women down and demotivate them by saying that they can't do anything. Sanjeeda said that it's better to stay away from such people. However, while everyone was wondering if it was a hint at Aamir, the latter reacted to the same and mentioned that the actress might have talked about something else, as their story was over long before, and it's been five years. The actor also added that talking about the past and being filthy in public isn't his way, and he would not ever do the same, especially with someone he shared a relationship with.
