Motherhood- a term that has enough capabilities to change your whole life! Your life, at one time, must have revolved all about yourself. How to spend your weekend, which friends to call and stay over, having some money left means going shopping and a golden-ish liquid on the glass while watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S. all seems like a distant past when you become a mother. But of course, the bliss of being a mom can’t be compared to anything and currently enjoying this phase to the fullest Sania Mirza is the proud mommy of her seven-month-old baby boy, Izhaan Mirza Malik. It was on October 30, 2018, when baby Izhaan Mirza Malik saw the light of the day and we couldn’t be happier! Izhaan’s star mommy, Sania Mirza Malik often takes to Instagram to share glimpses of their mommy-son life with her fans. It was very recently when Sania had taken to Instagram and posted a mesmerising black and white picture of herself with son, Izhaan, where they are both gazing at the camera. Posting the picture, Sania had written, “My boy. Thank you @avigowariker for capturing the most beautiful picture. Now you have become my forever and ever favourite #PostPackupshot.”

And recently, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Sania Mirza opened up about mommy-hood and the changes that came in her life after she welcomed her baby boy, Izhaan Mirza Malik. And that is exactly where the newbie mommy revealed the petname of her son. She shared, “I do. Izhaan is seven months old and while he is extremely naughty, he’s also a very intelligent kid. He knows everything that’s going on (laughs!) and can communicate without words, I don’t know how! A lot of people call him Izzu; it is the universal name that everyone — fans, extended friends who don’t know him, and haven’t seen him — automatically call him. But I call him Izzi. Actually, I call him all kinds of things, but yes, I also call him Izzi or Laddoo.” This is too adorable, isn’t it?
Speaking about her experience of motherhood, Sania Mirza had stated, “Life has definitely changed for the better, for sure. I think becoming a mother has helped me evolve as a person. Of course, small things have changed as well. Like, you don’t think about yourself, it all revolves around the baby now. Everything is about Izhaan and what he wants; what he wants to eat, when he wants to eat, etc, so you automatically take a backseat. Having said that, I’ve got a lot of help, so many loved ones lending a hand, that I still have time for myself as well. And I do think, motherhood has been the most fulfilling experience I have ever had.” (Must Read: Tusshar Kapoor Reveals How His Son, Laksshya Kapoor Gets Jealous When He Holds Nephew, Ravie Kapoor)
Izhaan Mirza Malik is one of the most loved star babies and his sportster mommy, Sania Mirza surely knows that and how! In the same interview, she shared, “Yes, he’s very adored! Obviously, being a child of two people who are public figures, you get a lot of love. I receive a lot of comments about my son. Every few days, if I don’t upload his picture, I get requests from many people who say, ‘Can you please upload his picture?’ and ‘Can I have a smile from him?’ He’s just a child and he obviously doesn’t know, but we are really overwhelmed by the love that he receives.”

While there are multiple pictures of Sania Mirza with her son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, there aren’t many pictures as such of Izhaan and his daddy, Shoaib Malik. Revealing the truth that Izhaan’s daddy doesn’t get enough time to spend with him, Sania revealed, “Shoaib definitely doesn’t get to spend as much time with Izhaan as he would like to. Also, with the World Cup on, he’s extremely busy travelling. Which is why we (she and Izhaan) have to travel to him, and try to make up for it. We spend time together as a family in Dubai. We divide our time — between his travel and our work commitments — between different countries.”
Inspiring millions of newbie mommies out there, Sania Mirza also shared how she manages to strike a balance between tennis and her baby. She stated, “No, not really. I started tennis a month-and-a-half ago after almost one-and-a-half years and I play about four days a week. It has not taken a back seat because I have enough people to help me out. I have my hands full with my baby, but I still work out a couple of hours a day and practise, so it’s fine.” (Also Read: Rohit Sharma And Ritika Sajdeh's Daughter Was Made In Maldives, Baby S Flaunts It On Her Onesie)
