Sania Mirza is among the most celebrated athletes in India. The former tennis player has made the country proud on various occasions till she bid adieu to the court in 2023. While Sania has retired from tennis, she continues to keep her passion for the game alive through her tennis academy located in Dubai. Unfortunately, she went through a major turmoil in her personal life after her former husband, Shoaib Malik, announced his third marriage to Sana Javed. Meanwhile, Sania, via her sister, Anam’s IG account, announced that she had separated from the Pakistani cricketer for quite some time.
Despite going through tumultuous times in her life recently, Sania has not backed down. Moreover, the former tennis player uses her social media account to share some motivational and uplifting messages with her followers. On April 15, 2024, Sania took to her Instagram stories and reposted a quote by the Islamic scholar, Mufti Menk, which talked about learning from mistakes and moving on in life. Sometime back, Sania shared a post about ‘sabr’ or patience. She reshared the original post uploaded by a blogger named Thee Deen Girl, on her IG stories. The post detailed the meaning of patience or ‘sabr’, which emphasised the strength it takes to smile against all odds and forgive people who have been cruel. The post can be read as:
“Sabr is smiling at people despite all the hurting inside you. Sabr is when tears come rushing down your eyes and wiping it off before anyone notices it. Sabr is forgiving people that are cruel to you. Sabr is having full Imaan in Allah that everything will workout. Sabr is trusting Allah’s plan.”

Apart from sharing motivational quotes, the former tennis player often posts happy pictures with her family, including her son, Izhaan Mirza Malik. Recently, Sania took to her Instagram account to commemorate Eid celebrations. This year, she flew to Hyderabad to celebrate the festival with her family. In the pictures, Sania was seen posing with her family, including her son, Izhaan, sister, Anam Mirza, brother-in-law, Mohammed Asaduddin and their daughter, Dua, and parents, Imran Mirza and Nasima Mirza. She wished her followers “Eid Mubarak” via her post.

Moreover, Sania uploaded a separate post with just her beloved son. For the day, Sania chose a beautiful outfit from the shelves of the renowned Pakistani designer, Nomi Ansari. Sania’s attire comprised a light grey silk kurta adorned with a heavily embroidered neckline, printed silk pants, and a matching printed organza dupatta. Meanwhile, Izhaan wore a white kurta pyjama for the occasion. The mother-son duo was all smiles as they posed for the lens, and received much praise from the people on the internet. Sania captioned the post as:
