Television actress, Sana Sayyad is well known for her stints in serials like Spy Bahu, Papa By Chance, Divya-Drishti, and more. In her personal life, she is married to the love of her life, Imaad Shamsi. The duo tied the marital knot back in 2021. For some time now, reports have been rife that Sana and Imaad were expecting their first child, and recently, the actress surprised everyone with pictures of herself flaunting her baby bump in full bloom.
In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Sana Sayyad opened up about her first pregnancy and shared that she is due in mid-October. Recalling the moment when she found out about her pregnancy, the actress said that she was very happy and emotional. Sana also added that she wants a healthy and happy baby and said:

"It's like I was feeling all the emotions at once. I have completed my 35 weeks. The baby is due mid October. Anytime during October, he or she will arrive and bless us. I just want a healthy and happy baby. Imaad feels that we will have a girl, my mother feels that we will have a boy."
The 29-year-old further revealed how she broke the news of her pregnancy to her partner, Imaad Shamsi. She mentioned that Imaad has a habit of coming home and holding her hand, and this time, he saw the test in her hand. When he saw the positive sign on it, he started laughing and crying. Sana said:
"Initially, I didn't know what to do. I just sat with my pregnancy kit. He has a habit of coming home and sitting holding my hand. When he held it this time, I had the test in my hand. He felt something was in my hand and when he saw that it was positive, we both cried, then we laughed. My mother and mother in law, both were very emotional too."
Sana Sayyad revealed that she had a normal pregnancy, but due to a low-lying placenta, the doctors advised her to be extra careful and take certain precautions. Sana shared that she took a break from work after four months of her pregnancy as her baby bump also started showing quite evidently. In her words:
"I have a normal pregnancy, but initially, I had a low-lying placenta. My doctor advised me if I could watch my step and not lift anything heavy or dance, climb stairs, just be a little careful. I had to take such precautions, hence I worked only till the fourth month of my pregnancy. I decided that it's better to take a break and chill for some time."
Sana Sayyad, who was last seen in the TV show, Kundali Bhagya, will take a break from acting only for some time and will resume work once the baby arrives. Talking about it, she shared that she has a supportive family and partner, and thus, she would love to take it easy as of now. She concluded:

"And then, if something great comes across, I would definitely want to get back to work. I am so used to working that not working makes me feel weird. I luckily have a very supportive family. Both my in-laws and husband will have my back, I am sure!"
