Samyuktha Shanmuganathan And Aniruda Srikkanth's Love Story, Divorcees, Fans Knew Of Them Dating

South actress, Samyuktha Shanmuganathan and former cricketer, Aniruda Srikkanth's love story has been something that was silently crafted away from the glare of the public eye. The couple, on November 27, 2025, tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in Chennai. Murmurs on Instagram related to the dating rumours of Samyukhta and Aniruda had started off a while ago. Samyukhta and Aniruda have been together for many months now and got married in the presence of their close friends and also family members.

Samyuktha Shanmuganathan and Aniruda Srikkanth's relationship  has been an epitome of resilience, companionship, and is proof that love can be given a second chance. Sometimes one may not find true love in the first instance, but can get lucky for the second time. Such was the case with Samyuktha and Aniruda, who have been divorced.

It was in Diwali 2025 that Samyuktha Shanmuganathan posted Diwali snaps with Aniruda Srikkanth, and fans in the comments section started penning congratulations for the couple. The snaps showcased an in-house Diwali party that Samyuktha and Aniruda had, and sharing the cute pictures with him, she had captioned the post as:

"This Diwali will go down as one of thee awesomeeeest Diwali in the book of Diwali history. I just want to say, love you guys all of you , my family, my friends, my Insta fam and I wish you only bestest brightest life ever."

According to a Free Press Journal report, when Samyuktha was asked about her relationship status, she shared that, "Everything is on the internet. Whatever is there, is there." Her wedding to Aniruda has marked a new phase of her life as both of them found love after getting divorced.

Samyuktha Shanmuganathan, a while back, took to her Instagram handle to post beautiful wedding snaps with Aniruda Srikkanth. For her big day, Samyuktha had worn a golden-hued saree along with temple jewellery, while Aniruda had worn a golden-hued shirt and also a dhoti. Their fans loved the snaps, and the union of the couple. Samyuktha Shanmuganathan's fans had shown evidence earlier of the actress getting married for the second time. The actress put rest to all the speculations and shared, according to a report by the ETimes, that the promise she made to Aniruda came true. Apart from raising her child single handedly alone, she shared of starting her new life with Aniruda.

Aniruda Srikkanth was earlier married to Arthi Venkatesh

For the unversed, Aniruda Srikkanth had played for Chennai Super Kings from 2008 to 2013 and for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2014 back in the Indian Premier League. He was known to be an attacking batsman, a sports commentator, and also a YouTuber. Aniruda was earlier married to a model called, Arthi Venkatesh. His marriage to Arthi lasted from 2012 to 2014.

Samyuktha Shanmuganathan was earlier married to Karthik Shankar, has a son

Samyuktha Shanmuganathan, before finding love in Aniruda Srikkanth, was married to Karthik Shankar. After completing her divorce procedure, it was in 2025 that it got finalised. Earlier, in an interview with Galatta Tamil, she had revealed Karthik's extramarital affair. He used to work in Dubai as a businessman and lived with another lady for four years. Samyuktha got to know about the same during the lockdown time. Speaking of his affair, she shared:

“It was during COVID times that I found out my husband was living with someone else in Dubai for over four years. I was heartbroken and did not know what to do. I couldn’t even travel anywhere because of the lockdown."

Samyuktha tried her luck in Bigg Boss Tamil after she told her friend that she was a homemaker and was also dependent on Karthik. Samyuktha shared that she had a child to take care of and then took the opportunity to do the controversial reality show. She was seen in the fourth season of the show and was also seen in the movie, Madharas Mafia Company.

Samyuktha, earlier in an interview with IANS, shared that the affair of her ex-husband, tech entrepreneur, Karthik Shankar, made her feel like her full life was a lie. She had also revealed of how at a point in life, she was completely done with materialistic things. She had become famous with Bigg Boss Tamil 4, but in a post, she had mentioned being done with things giving materialistic happiness. She wrote:

"Guys! What do you have in your bucket list? For me, 1. It’s to lose those last five kgs( it’s been my goal forever). 2. Maybe learn to do a back flip. I learned cartwheel a couple of years back, loved it! 3. Ride a motorbike. 4. Give back to society in some way. I'm done with materialistic things. I feel like I have enough and more ... feels weird to be content. Do you have a bucket list?"
