A mother and a daughter turn out to be the coolest best friends since the beginning. We all remember holding onto our mom's dupatta in a family get-together and following her everywhere as we were clueless of the world around us. When we grow up, she becomes the first person, who knows all about us. No matter how far we are, she somehow knows all our mood swings within 2 seconds of the phone call. And an exactly similar relationship is brewing between Bollywood actress, Sameera Reddy and her soon-to-be-one-year-old angel, Nyra Varde. On June 26, 2020, Sameera took to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures with her baby girl, Nyra. In the picture, we can see the mommy-daughter duo twinning in an orange ensemble. While Sameera was looking gorgeous as usual, we loved how cute Nyra looked in the orange dress and a white-coloured cap. Alongside the picture, Sameera wrote, "Orange is the new black. The one thing Covid has taught me is to be so grateful for simple things. Time to only focus on the good." Check it out below:
Ever since, Sameera had embraced motherhood for the second time, she has been making headlines. When the nationwide lockdown was announced to fight the COVID-19, Sameera had shared a video. In the video, she had given a message to all the mommies how kids are the ones, who are finding it most difficult to digest the fact of staying inside their homes. She had written a long note that could be read as "Day 2. Children are finding it hard to process this situation. It hurts me that Hans is exposed to paranoia and fear. But this is the new normal. And imagine if we feel anxiety they feel it even more. Signs of deep anxiety in children -finding it hard to concentrate. -not sleeping, or waking in the night with bad dreams.-not eating properly. -quickly getting angry or irritable, and being out of control during outbursts. -constantly worrying or having negative thoughts. -feeling tense and fidgety, or using the toilet often. -always crying. -being clingy. -complaining of tummy aches and feeling unwell. Please be aware of and communicate with your child. It’s important . Keeping them busy is a good thing but talking to them and being honest about the situation is recommended. Make them feel safe. Lots of hugs and lots of patience." (Also Read: Ekta Kapoor Shares An Unseen Miss India Days Video Of BFF, Smriti Irani, Pens An Appreciation Post)
Earlier, in one of her Instagram posts, Sameera had shared how blessed she feels to become a mother to a baby girl. She had written a long note, which could be read as “This little girl gave me the strength of wild horses. She wanted me to find myself again. She knew I was lost, and she showed me the way. I found a voice in celebrating motherhood, wanting change on body perception and the best part was reaching out to people to just feel good about themselves. I’m so happy that people felt so connected and supported me to get here! We prayed for a #babygirl and we are #blessed!"
