In the picture, Sameera was seen receiving offerings from her mother-in-law with a big smile on her face. Sameera radiated pregnancy glow in a yellow silk saree and a golden choker. Hair tied into a bun ordained with gajra gave her the proper South Indian look. Alongside the picture, Sameera penned a note talking about her amazing camaraderie with her mother-in-law. She wrote, "Messy Mama & Saasu Saasu. We are a modern Saas Bahu yet we deeply value our traditional foundations. Found this pic from 2019 Godh Bharai and it reminded me that our cultural heritage and personal rituals are to be cherished and handed over to the coming generations, with love, respect and an inclusive vision of ‘Vasudevam Kutumbakam’ The world is One Family. #throwbackthursday #messymama #sassysaasu #saasbahu #redefined @manjrivarde @diydayalishka @thewedwiz. On her lovely post, Sameera's mother-in-law commented, "Rituals are profound and it is lovely to honour them. But people are more important than any ritual ever created. Reverence is beautiful, as long as it is freely and deeply understood and believed in. Let us start by honouring our families and then taking it out into the universe." (Also Read: Ayushmann Khurrana Lauds Tahira's Inspiring Poem On Her Battle With Cancer And Embracing Scars)

Sameera often talks about her pregnancy phase and shares tips on how she dealt with all the emotional side effects that came with it. On October 15, 2020, Sameera had posted a throwback picture of herself when she was pregnant with her first kid, Hans, and had recalled how unprepared she was then. She had written, "Angry, frustrated, self-loathing & spewing. Our own demons get to us! Akshai patiently worked through it with me. Throwback 2015, pregnant with Hans, hormonal, unaware & unprepared! Totally opposite of what I am today. We prepare for everything but what is most important the emotional support we require. What leads someone to feel low about one's body self-image? Whether you are a new mother or even otherwise? It can lead to a negative body perception that can dominate your moods, your inner happiness and destroy healthy relationships."

In her note, Sameera had further talked about her transformation after her second child's birth, Nyra, and had expressed that positivity comes from within. Her note could be further read as "Two babies later, I look back and am so grateful for the unbelievable transformation. Not the physical one but the mental one, but it's difficult to see it when you are in a bad mental and physical space. The positive internal shift only comes with your own focus to pull yourself out of the rut and of course, the support from people around you. Be Kind. Be gentle with anyone who is struggling. You are #imperfectlyperfect at every age and every stage. #mentalhealthawareness #messymama #momlife #grace #bekind #loveyourself."
