Samantha Ruth Prabhu's health condition has resurfaced. A few days ago, reports were rife that she has decided to take a sabbatical from acting for a year to concentrate on her health. But according to the latest reports, her health condition is serious, and it requires immediate attention. Samantha has been going through a difficult phase for the past few years. From an ugly separation with Naga Chaitanya to handling trolls and then getting diagnosed with Myositis.
According to a media report by Zoom Entertainment, Samantha Ruth Prabhu's health condition has resurfaced, and it requires immediate medical attention. According to a source, Samantha is determined to cure herself no matter how long it takes to heal. The actress is taking a six-month break from acting and her work. The source was quoted as saying:

"Sam’s health needs immediate attention. Her condition has resurfaced and she is now determined to cure herself no matter how long it takes. Starting from July, Sam is taking a six months break for a focused remedial routine. Please note it is a six months break and not a year."

According to earlier reports, a source confirmed that Samantha is taking a break to focus on her health. She has to go for the main treatment and therapy session for her condition. She is planning to go to the US for her treatment and is expected to visit South Korea as well. In 2022, Samantha was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. She had taken a six-month break from the treatment at that time.
On January 9, 2023, Samantha appeared for the trailer launch of her upcoming film, Shaakunantalam. A video from the trailer launch has been making rounds on the internet, wherein Samantha broke down while recalling her struggles. However, her fans were left super emotional as the actress tried to calm down and was seen laughing while wiping her tears.

In the clip, Samantha said that no matter her struggles, her love for cinema won't change. She said:
"No matter how many struggles I face in life, one thing won’t change. That’s how much I love cinema and cinema loves me back. I strongly believe that this love will grow manifold with Shaakuntalam."
