Samantha Ruth Prabhu Recalls Facing Judgements After Her Split From Ex, Husband, Naga Chaitanya

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the most talented actresses in the entertainment space, who never skips a chance to win the hearts of her fans. The actress has been through a lot, but the way she handled it so well, she became an inspiration to many. Samantha had been in a tough personal space when she got divorced from Naga Chaitanya. The couple got married and was together for five years before calling it quits in 2021.

Cut to now, Chaitanya and Samantha moved on in their respective lives, and while the actor is married to Sobhita Dhulipala, the actress has been linked to Raj Nidimoru. Amid this, Samantha talked about the judgment she had to face for being open and vulnerable after her divorce from Naga Chaitanya. Samantha has been open about her personal life struggles and even about her divorce from Naga Chaitanya. While the real reason for their split could never be known, Samantha shared several times that there had been some hard feelings that seemingly eventually cooled down. In a recent interview with NDTV, Samantha said that she doesn't feel that authenticity is the final destination, but rather it's a work in progress.

In the same interview, Samantha Ruth Prabhu revealed that she can speak about how she feels that she's not perfect and her life isn't sorted, and thus, she is only trying to be better. She further revealed that if anyone has followed her journey, they are simply well aware of the struggles she faced, and the separation, or illness, brought her a whole lot of judgements and trolling, only for the fact that she was open and vulnerable. She could be quoted as saying:

"I'm talking about authenticity with my own journey. I can't begin to explain that I know someone else's. I can speak it and keep it as real as possible. My life - anyone who has followed my journey - is aware of the personal struggles. The separation, the illness - they have all been very public. It has come with a lot of trolling and judgment; a lot of judgment for being open and vulnerable."

Going forward in the interview, Samantha Ruth Prabhu revealed that the ambition of someone should always be attached to the purpose. She revealed how she spent hours listening to podcasts and finding the right mentor changed the trajectory of her life. She further stated that she came from a humble background and had nothing, and thus, when there was a whole lot of name, fame, and applause for her, she didn't know what to do with it. She said:

"It is a struggle. I had nothing; I came from a humble background. My family struggled to put food on the table. There was name, fame, wealth, applause - I didn't know what to do with it. Authenticity is the sum of your upbringing. If you're not in balance with that upbringing, it can put you in a lot of turmoil."

Back in 2021, after Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya's divorce announcement, producer, Neelima Guna revealed that the actress was planning to start a family and have a baby that year. In an interview with The News Minute, Neelima shared that when she and her father approached Samantha for the movie, Shaakuntalam, the actress loved the storyline, but she gave a condition that they would have to wrap the shoot within a certain time, as the actress was about to have kids with her husband. However, destiny had other plans, as after this, the ex-couple announced their separation.
