Samantha Ruth Prabhu Breaks Down As She Talks About Her Rare Condition, Says 'You Need To Fight'

Indian actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been going through a lot of ups and downs for the past few months. From handling her bitter divorce from Naga Chaitanya to fighting millions of trolls, and now battling a rare autoimmune condition called myositis. While Samantha may show her tough side, there are days when she breaks down. Recently, we got a glimpse of it during one of her media interactions.

For those who don't know, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya first met on the sets of their hit film, Yeh Maaya Chesave. They had developed an instant liking, but they had not fallen in love at that time. Instead, their dating speculations had started in 2015 when they were spotted together. Finally, on October 7, 2017, Samantha and Chaitanya tied the knot, only to part ways in 2021.

Recently, in an interview with Suma, Samantha talked about her rare autoimmune condition called myositis. She shared that some days are good and some days are bad. She also added that there are some days when she feels that she can't take a step further. Samantha was quoted as saying:

"Some days are good, and some days are bad. There are days when I feel like I can’t take one more step further. And there are days when I look back, I feel surprised that I have come so far. I’m here to fight. I’m not the only one, I know that. There are a lot of people who are fighting many battles. We win in the end"

On a lighter note, Samantha also called upon the people and media organisations, who called her condition life-threatening. The actress quipped and said currently she is not dying. She shared:

"I also saw a lot of articles saying that my condition was life-threatening. The stage I’m in is not life-threatening. It’s difficult, but I’m here to fight. At least for the time being, I’m not going to die."

We hope Samantha gets well soon!
