During one of the segments, Samantha blatantly states that Karan is the reason for unhappy marriages. Further elaborating on her statement, the actress shared that he had marketed the idea of marriage and wedding lehenga.
Samantha also added that Karan Johar gave hope to the youth that life is similar to Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham, but in reality, it is like KGF, full of action, drama and fights. She was quoted as saying:
"I have a bone to pick with you. You are on some level, the reason for unhappy marriages. Because you have marketed this idea of marriage and wedding lehenga and wedding songs and you know from our youth, and you have like portrayed life to be K3G (Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham) when in fact, the reality is KGF."
