In the post, the band remembered him as their "brother, our bandmate, our heartbeat". The band remembered Sam Rivers as 'pure magic' and 'a true legend' whose presence was 'unforgettable'. He was praised as "the pulse beneath every song, the calm in the chaos, the soul in the sound." The poignant post could be read as:

"Sam Rivers wasn't just our bass player — he was pure magic. The pulse beneath every song, the calm in the chaos, the soul in the sound. From the first note we ever played together, Sam brought a light and a rhythm that could never be replaced. His talent was effortless, his presence unforgettable, his heart enormous."

Sam Rivers' bandmates also recalled the innumerable memories they made together as members of Limp Bizkit. They mentioned that the late artists meant a lot to each of them, including lead vocalist, Fred Durst, drummer, John Otto, guitarist, Wes Borland, and turntablist, DJ Lethal. They further said that the 'legend of legend' will continue to stay in their hearts and his musicial contribution will be remembered forever.
