Salman Khan Talks About His Fallout With Aamir Khan, 'He Thought I Am Not Interested In My Work...'

Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s much-awaited show, Two Much With Kajol And Twinkle, premiered on Amazon Prime Video on September 25, 2025. As soon as the first episode of the show, starring the two big Khans of Bollywood, Aamir and Salman, streamed, people went crazy and shared their reactions. The two stars spoke about many aspects of their lives, making the first episode of the show unmissable.

Salman Khan talks about his fallout and friendship with Aamir Khan

In one of the segments of the show, Kajol asked Salman how his friendship with Aamir happened. To which he shared that the friendship was always there. Narrating a funny incident from their first film together, Andaz Apna Apna, Salman said;

“During Andaz Apna Apna, Mr. Aamir Khan used to land on the set at 7 am for a 9 am shift because he had 1 film and I had 15 films. He used to go on with his rehearsals. So at that point in time, he thought that I was not interested in my work. How can anyone not be interested in their work when he is doing three shifts at a time?”

Aamir Khan’s conflict with Salman Khan

Despite their popularity, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan didn't work much together apart from their 1994 iconic film, Andaz Apna Apna, where they had a fallout. When Aamir graced the grand finale of Bigg Boss 18, Salman Khan recalled that he once saw an old video of Aamir Khan from the last day of their 1994 film. In that interview, Aamir mentioned that he was relieved to finally complete his work with Salman Khan.

Salman also added that Aamir had also shared that he would never work with Salman Khan again in his life. Aamir laughed at those memories and mentioned that it was his feeling in the past. However, they gradually bonded and have become good friends over time. He explained: 

"That was my feeling at the time, but now my feelings have changed. With time, I've grown to appreciate who Salman is. It just took me some time to understand."

When Aamir Khan spoke his heart out to Salman Khan during his divorce

Aamir Khan and Salman Khan had known each other since childhood and studied together in class 2. During his separation from Reena Dutta, Aamir was undergoing depression. At that point, Salman paid him a visit and spoke to him. As they spoke, Aamir bared his heart out and talked to Salman for hours. That is how they became great friends.
