Bigg Boss 19 has become a fan-favourite reality show with its intense high-octane drama, fights, and gameplay. Recently, many contestants have taken a no-holds-barred approach in their fights with each other. They have even brought up private issues while arguing. Amid this, Salman Khan schooled Amaal Mallik in Weekend ka Vaar since the music composer had made degrading remarks against Farrhana Bhatt and her mother. Salman shared advice with Amaal by citing his own example and controversies.
Salman Khan reprimanded Amaal for his inability to control his words during fights, and was also joined by the contestant's father, Daboo Malik during Weekend ka Vaar. The Sultan actor said that even though he might repent later and apologise, people will remember his reaction and words. Salman shared a quote by Sushmita Sen and also added that he has been 'paying' for things that other 'people' imagined decades ago. The actor was quoted as saying:
“I keep guiding him (Amaal) every week, but he has no control over his mind or his tongue. He says whatever he wants. You’re not a kid now, Amaal. Even though you repent later and apologise, this is one thing you need to control. Sushmita Sen once said something beautiful: people will remember and judge your reaction, and it will stay for a lifetime. I know this because even today, I’m paying for things imagined 30–40 years ago. Do you think you can handle that? It’s a very vicious world, Amaal.”
Salman Khan then further expressed that he has been blamed for things he has never done. Even when he does charity or respects other, people say that it's show-off, stated the Tere Naam actor. Along with himself, he also mentioned Sanjay Dutt, who has made many headlines in the past due to his court cases and incarceration, and asked Amaal if he could handle what both of them had gone through. Salman was quoted as saying:
“I’ve been blamed for things I’ve not even done, and I’m still bearing it to this day. Do you have the mental strength to face what people say about you? When you do charity or show respect, people think it’s a show-off. These are small lessons you’re being told. What Sanju (Sanjay Dutt) and I have gone through, how will you handle that? The whole world can turn against you, and you must keep your head down, keep listening, and keep working day in and day out like a warhorse."
In a recent episode, Amaal Mallik made vile comments against Farrhana Bhatt after she shredded letters sent by Neelam Giri's parents during a captaincy task. Amaal also dragged Farrhana's mother into the fight and made insensitive comments about her. Along with this, the music composer showed aggression by snatching a plate from Farrhana while she was eating and throwing it away. This ordeal was met with a huge backlash from viewers. Amaal's father, Daboo Malik, also joined Salman Khan on stage to reprimand his son about disrespecting women.
