Sakshi Sindhwani LOSES All Four Business-Class Bags With Her Outfits Ahead Of Cannes Debut

Just hours before her much-anticipated Cannes red carpet debut with L’Oreal, Indian plus-size influencer and fashion icon, Sakshi Sindwani, is facing an unimaginable crisis. In what is supposed to be one of her most memorable days, all four of her business-class, high-priority bags have gone missing. The influencer took to her social media to blast Lufthansa and Swiss Airlines for not addressing the matter or cooperating with her in this urgent crisis.

Sakshi Sindwani loses her luggage ahead of her Cannes debut

The Delhi-based creator, known for her body-positive fashion content under the handle, StyleMeUpWithSakshi, took to Instagram Stories with an emotional SOS. Sakshi revealed that Lufthansa and Swiss Airlines have lost every single one of her checked-in bags during her journey to Cannes via Nice Airport. She wrote:

"The most unbelievably shattering thing has happened. I am completely broken. @lufthansa @flyswiss Have lost all 4 of my bags.  I’m at Cannes with 0 things on me because they did not arrive at NICE.  I have gone through the most frightening night of my life. Lufthansa and Swiss have been incredibly careless and unhelpful in this whole situation, and we are feeling very lost.”

Sakshi had worked for months preparing for her highly anticipated appearance at Cannes, said the bags that she lost were all marked “High Priority” at every stopover and checked in under business class. She expressed her heartbreak and frustration over the lack of support from the airline authorities. The note read:

“It is imperative I get my luggage before 10 am in NICE today, else I’ll have too big a loss that I won’t be able to incur. If you know someone or are someone who can help, please help SOS.  These are bags that were told at every stopover to be HIGH PRIORITY and extremely important. And they are checked in under business class. I cannot believe my life right now."

In a follow-up post, Sakshi added that she needs immediate help if she were to make it to the Cannes Film Festival. Considering that this could be a dream-come-true moment for the beauty and fashion influencer, not getting her luggage back could put her debut in jeopardy. She wrote:

“I am completely broken, and I need your help. @flyswiss @lufthansa This cannot be happening. I’m at Cannes for the film festival. How could this happen to me, and why have your authorities been so UNHELPFUL and Insensitive about the urgency of the situation?”
