Bollywood's ace music composer, Tanishk Bagchi, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Shaadis, revealed the pain he fought internally while creating 'Saiyaara's music.

Bollywood's ace music composer, Tanishk Bagchi, is running high with the success of Saiyaara, whose title track has been created by him. He humbly reveals that creating good music is a part of his journey, and it is not the first time that he has composed something. He has composed Raataan Lambiyaan, many other songs, and it is his work, job, for he believes that whatever he does, it is with a full heart. That's the reason why most of his songs are popular and successful, as he has very good intentions behind every song. A look at his Instagram handle will make you see Tanishk singing a version of, ''Saiyaara tu toh rootha nai hai", but do you know he battled depression while he was creating the masterpiece?

Tanishk Bagchi exclusively reveals going through the pain of depression while composing Saiyaara's music

Tanishk, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Shaadis, confessed that a true musician needs inspiration, which will come from where? It cannot come from fake things. One cannot fake love, depression, or heartbreak. Tanishk was vulnerable and shared of going through a period in his life, but Saiyaara, which is a "toota hua taara" and whatever one wishes from the same comes true. He spoke about his phase of depression while creating Saiyaara's music and shared:

"You have to feel it. Jab tak aap feel nai karoge tab tak you can't take something out of it. I was depressed and thinking about what I was doing in my life, and how it was going. Every time I have to prove I am a good musician. Then I go down. You know how the industry works. Competition bhi hai, and you have to earn money too to maintain your family. You have your love life going through that suffering. You are stressed, so everything around you is going to be stressed. I was going through that phase in my life, and fortunately, I met Mohit sir."

Tanishk Bagchi was hopeful about his personal life while composing Saiyaara's music

Tanishk did confess that Saiyaara's director, Mohit Suri was very involved in his life and used to tell him that he was a good musician. Mohit told Tanishk that he has proven himself and that this time it could be a new step where the composer could get many new things. Tanishk is grateful that Saiyaara came in his way and he became more hopeful related to his personal life. In his words:

"Trust me this film gave me a lot of hope about my personal life. It also gave me a thought that if you make something with love, then you don't have to think about hit or flop. It is going to penetrate hearts. Whether it is a new artist, it will go and proven in the film. I am doing the first film of Yash Raj and I have to prove it. They are musically very strong, emotional and romantic people. That also was on the shoulders. It inspired me to make this."

Tanishk Bagchi reveals how he became connected with Saiyaara and the process was immersive

Tanishk further said that Saiyaara was not just a movie for him. It was like the music composer was taken back 15 years when he tried to get out and prove a point. That was his main intention behind the movie. He took time, figured out melody, singers and finally when he played it to Mohit sir, the director got it. As Tanishk says:

"Even a star falls down. It is a lot of passion and emotion behind that. For me, it was very big as it has all my emotions immersed in it. I am very connected with the song."
