'Saiyaara' Director Mohit Suri Opens On Manifesting Marrying Udita Goswami After Seeing Her Hoarding

Saiyaara director, Mohit Suri, is basking in the success of his blockbuster hit movie. It featured debutants- Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, and has struck an emotional chord with all the fans. Mohit is the man behind some of the most romantic Hindi movies, including Zeher, Kalyug, Aashiqui 2, and Ek Villain. However, do you know that he had secretly married Udita Goswami and is also a hopeless romantic in real life?

Mohit Suri reveals how he manifested marrying Udita Goswami after he saw her hoarding

Mohit, in a candid interaction with NDTV, shared how he manifested his marriage with Udita. He shared that sometimes when she gets into a really heavy fight with him, she will start saying some mean things, and she will say leave all your emotions for your films only. But the fact is, he is with her for 21 years. He still gets excited and feels upset when she does not talk to him. Mohit confessed to being a hopeless romantic, and when Udita praises him, he gets happy. It will stay like that. Mohit recalled seeing Udita's hoarding once when she was a star, and he said that was the time when he decided that he wanted to get married to her. In his words:

"Outside the Amar juice centre, I was sitting with a friend, and she was on a hoarding of Paap. I had no idea who she was, and I was telling what I felt. I think the universe was just listening at that time. I am now married to her. I manifested it and I told Pooja. She was the director of Paap. I just said it as a joke, and the next thing I knew, when I went for a trial, she introduced me to Udita and said he is Mohit. He wants to be a director and marry you. It was quite embarrassing at the moment. I was the fool, but that's when the love story began."

Now, it has been 21 years since the pair has been together. Mohit and Udita got married in 2013 and are parents to two kids- Devi and Karma. Cinemalovers have always loved Mohit and Udita, whose love story is one of a kind, and they battled everything when they knew that their love for each other surpassed everything.

Udita, who is from Assam, was trying her luck in the modelling field when she was in high school. Her mom had made her enrol in the School of Arts and Fashion Technology, Dehradun. She got the confidence to do Hindi cinema and then came to Mumbai. Udita got the lead role in Zeher, which was also Mohit's directorial debut. They instantly felt connected while doing the movie. Udita and Mohit became friends, and after 8 years of dating, on January 29, 2013, they got married. The couple, according to a News 18 report, was on and off a relationship for almost a year. This was because issues started in 2010, and there were reports doing the rounds that they would marry after the release of their movie, Crook. However, they did not get married after the release of Crook. However, fans were happy that they came together later.
