Saif Ali Khan’s son, Ibrahim Ali Khan is garnering a lot of limelight at the moment, ever since he finally made his social media debut. The young man who previously preferred to stay away from the media glare, seems to have brought a new change in his lifestyle, ahead of his film debut, Sarzameen. Apart from the buzz over his forth-coming professional life, Ibrahim has also garnered much appreciation for his exceedingly similar looks with his father, Saif. Moreover, the gentleman earns a special place in the hearts of the paparazzi, whom he greets with utmost humility.
For the unversed, Saif Ali Khan belongs from a real-life royal family, and is the Nawab of Pataudi. The actor’s father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was not just the preceding Nawab before him, but also was a talented cricketer at the national level. However, quite early on in his career, Saif had decided not to follow his father’s footsteps and enter into cricket. He instead continued to keep forward his mother, Sharmila Tagore’s legacy and forayed into films.

However, in one of his previous interviews with the Hindustan Times, Saif Ali Khan discussed the possibility about his son, Ibrahim Ali Khan living up the legacy of the latter’s grandfather, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, when it came to cricket. Well, Ibrahim has been known to have taken an active interest in sports, especially cricket, and has in fact been spotted many times, playing the same. Talking about Ibrahim making a career in cricket, Saif had said:
“But of course it would be so lovely if it happened. Then, people can say, oh God, it’s great for so many generations. The family name and the legacy is alive. It’s important to take forward the legacy that gets forgotten in time. That’s why Pataudi palace is important as a house. So that in sense, Ibrahim taking up cricket will be very romantic. But romance has its own place, people can’t get carried away with that. He would much rather have him be happy and have a decent job. However, if Ibrahim plays cricket for India, he would be amazed.”
On April 30, 2024, Ibrahim Ali Khan finally made his way to the social media platform, Instagram, and dropped his first-ever post on the same. Well, the soon-to-be-debutant actor shared a bunch of his photographs in cool and stylish athleisure wear, which were crafted in collaboration with the leading apparel brand, Puma. While the star kid’s eye candy look and strong resemblance with his father, Saif Ali Khan stole the show, it was also his sassy caption which grabbed attention. He penned:
“Legacy? I’ll make my own. Taking my first stride with @pumaindia.”
