Bollywood mass entertainers eventually become a cult classic not just because of the stories but also because of the direct references of other Bollywood movies and couples. Without a fail, the actors and actresses on-screen take digs and potshots at other celebrities, and sometimes, it’s all cool and at times, it goes overboard and creates a brouhaha in the Page 3 headlines. A classic example of such a cult movie is Andaz Apna Apna (1994) and if you watched it, you know what we are talking about. In one of the scenes, Ajay Devgn justifies this age gap among married couples by citing examples of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, Amal Clooney and George Clooney, and lastly saying Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s names! Saif Ali Khan has reacted to Ajay’s dialogue and as per a report in the DNA, when the Sacred Games star heard the dialogue, he went like, “Hey, that’s cool, man.” The report has also suggested that Saif Ali Khan is really happy that at the age of 50, Ajay Devgn is experimenting with ‘cool’ roles. It must be noted here that Saif and Ajay are like B-town buddies who worked in films like Kacche Dhaage and Omkara together. In fact, when Ajay had come on Koffee with Karan season 6 with his wife, Kajol, the Golmaal actor had named Saif as the most underrated actor in Bollywood.
Coming back to the topic of the age gap between married couples, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are 11 years apart in terms of their age (Bebo being younger). In fact, the Nawab of Pataudi was earlier married to Amrita Singh who was 12 years older than him. Saifeena (as fans affectionately call them) got married on October 16, 2012. And on December 20, 2016, they gave birth to their little munchkin and social media sensation- Taimur Ali Khan. When Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan had gotten married, their age gap of 11 years had led to many jokes on Twitter. In fact, the one joke which people took people seriously was that Kareena had actually approached Saif in 1991 after his wedding with Amrita, and he had said, “Thank you, beta” to Bebo! Media columnist, Suhel Seth had written on Twitter, “Kareena Kapoor at Saif's first wedding, wished him: he said "Thank you beta": lesson: no beta to any girl who wishes you on your wedding.”

But jokes apart, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are definitely the ‘IT’ couple of the Tinseltown. They have always been reverently vocal about their love and respect for each other. Recently, when Saif Ali Khan was asked to comment on the qualities of Bebo which he admires the most, he was quoted as saying, “There are obvious things like loyalty...giving importance to family, being grounded and not being too carried away with all the work that we can get carried away by. Having your priorities straight - time for family, time for friends, that is the most important.”
He had further added, “Along with work being important as well but not obsessing to the point of cut-throat decisions and doing everything for that and then ending up only having that (laughs). As a wife, not being very pushy and demanding. Being very easy going about a lot of things. You've got to be easy to live with if you want someone to live with you happily. She's very easy to live with.” (Must Read: Unseen Picture Of Shloka Mehta's Bridal Avatar From Her Wedding Is Grace Personified)
