Saif Ali Khan's Attacker Reveals He Stabbed The Actor Near The Spine To Free Himself From His Grip

Saif Ali Khan was brutally attacked by an intruder in the dead of night on January 16, 2025. The actor was reportedly stabbed six times while he fought with an intruder. It is being reported that the attacker wanted to take Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan's younger son, Jeh, hostage in exchange for Rs. 1 crore ransom. 

Saif Ali Khan's attacker revealed why he stabbed the actor

Five days after the attack, the actor, Saif Ali Khan, was discharged from the hospital on the evening of January 21, 2025. His attacker, who was identified as a Bangladeshi national, has also been arrested. In a recently released statement, the police revealed the reason the stabber cited behind his actions. For the unversed, the accused had escaped Saif's residence in upscale Bandra after the crime and had hidden in the garden of the building for around two hours. The police official stated:

"The accused entered the actor's flat in the Satguru Sharan building from the bathroom window with the intention of theft. After he entered the house, the actor's staff spotted him and started arguing with him. Soon, Saif Ali Khan came there and sensing a threat, he held the accused tightly from the front."

In the same statement, the official shared that once Saif grabbed him, he could not move and started stabbing the actor to break free from his grip. Saif had locked the main door to his flat, assuming that the accused was still hiding inside his house. However, it was revealed in this statement that the attacker had managed to flee using the same route he had used to enter the actor's residence. The police official stated:

"As the accused did not get time to move, he started stabbing the actor in his back to free himself from the latter's grip. As Saif was injured in the attack, the accused managed to break free from his grip."

Police had earlier revealed that they had secured the fingerprints of the accused from the crime scene

The police, in an earlier statement, had revealed that they had found some fingerprints at the scene. These fingerprints will be used to confirm the identification of the attacker and later as evidence. The prints were taken from different parts of the residence, including the bathroom window from where he entered and exited, the duct shaft, and the ladder he used to enter from the duct.

After two emergency surgeries, relentless care from the medical staff and prayers from across the country. The actor, Saif Ali Khan, was discharged on January 21, 2025. The actor had ditched the wheelchair to come out of the hospital and walked all the way to his car. He wore a white shirt and a blue denim. His hand was bandaged, but he looked well and even waved at the paparazzi before entering his house.
