Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s little kiddo, Taimur Ali Khan is not only the ‘apple of the eye’ of his family but the entire nation as well. He is blessed with the ‘good looks, good looks and good looks’, courtesy his Khan and Pataudi lineage. The paparazzi favourite, Taimur left for Cape Town, South Africa with his star parents, Kareena and Saif, for a work-cum-leisure vacation. Chote Nawab mounted on Senior Pataudi’s shoulders while the Begum kept in tow, was a sight to behold as they were snapped by the shutterbugs at the airport on December 16, 2018. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Saif Ali Khan revealed how they’ll celebrate their little one, Taimur Ali Khan’s second birthday. He said, “Kareena and I will be shooting an ad in Cape Town for a luggage brand. After that, we are going to ride horses and see some big cats for Tim’s birthday.” Taimur Ali Khan will turn 2-year-old on December 20, 2018, and after a grand bash, the family left for a vacation to spend some quality time together.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan hosted a pre-birthday bash for their little Batman, Taimur Ali Khan on December 7, 2018, wherein they invited their little one’s friends including Rannvijay Singha and Prianka Singha’s daughter Kainaat Singha, Tusshar Kapoor’s son Laksshya Kapoor, Amrita Arora and Shakeel Ladak’s sons Rayaan Ladak and Azaan Ladak, amongst others for the party. Taimur’s family including bua, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu’s with their daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, his maasi Karisma Kapoor and her children Samiera and Kiaan Raj, his nana-nani Babita and Randhir Kapoor too attended the bash.
Taimur got too many presents on his birthday, including the toy cars and blue balloons. But what caught our attention was a customised birthday gift that we stumbled upon in one of the photos of his birthday presents with a card that reads as "Exhausted from the paparazzi”, courtesy Taimur being favourite of the paparazzi and media as he greets them everytime they meet with a ‘hi’ and ‘bye’. Here’s the picture:
Post the pre-birthday bash, in the evening, Saif Ali Khan, along with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Taimur Ali Khan, was all smiles for the shutterbugs as they posed outside their residence, Fortune Heights, Mumbai. While Saif sported a striped kurta and white pyjamas with a pair of black shoes, Bebo wore an oversized white T-Shirt and black harem pants. Taimur, who was nestled in his mommy’s arms, looked super-adorable in a blue T-Shirt and green shorts with blue Crocs. Another video from his pre-birthday bash went viral on social media, wherein someone refused Taimur to give him balloons, so the little one goes to his mamma for the same. It is the first time that Tim calling Kareena “mamma” got captured on a camera and got viral. Here’s the video:
Well, for us, Taimur might be a muffin, goofball, cutie-patootie, munchkin, cheesecake, or anything we wish to call him, but he wants everyone to call him Tim, a nickname given by Kareena and Saif. A few months ago, Taimur was snapped by the paparazzi at his residence and they greeted the chote Nawab as Taimur, just like always. But this time, the little one corrected the media by saying, 'It is Tim', which was followed by the most adorable ‘bye’ in the world. Hearing Taimur saying these words is indeed a treat to ears, and we have been watching this video on loop. Take a look at it here:
In a throwback interview, Saif revealed Taimur’s nickname and talked about inculcating values in him. He had said, “You have to sit him down, the minute he can understand it. And it'll start with calling the people at home and not yelling. It'll be manners, it'll be Please, Thank You, Aadaab. It'll be discipline from young age. At least we know these things. These Bombay kids are out of control. He'll be very well behaved. And honestly, if he does his namaste right, he'll score points. Have you seen Sara's aadaab when she was younger? This is it. This is what we need, a nice aadaab from Tim. TIM by the way.”
Revealing how travel has changed for them ever since Taimur’s birth and what kind of holidays they take and the experiences they want their little one to have, Saif shared in an interview with Conde Nast Traveller, “Despite having the idea of trying different things, we’ve ended up (and my wife is quite annoyed about this) going to the same places and doing the same things every year—London in summer, Gstaad in winter, with some parts of India, like Rajasthan and Pataudi, in between. We would have liked to go to more places in Italy and France—and we will. But you know, there is also something comforting about going to the same places, because the people know you and the hotel feels like home. With Taimur, we also end up travelling with a bit of an entourage. We never travelled light, but after Taimur, we travel even heavier.” (Also Read: Kareena Kapoor Khan Reacts On Saif Ali Khan's Idea Of Sending Taimur Ali Khan To A Boarding School)
