Dabba Cartel Actress, Sai Tamhankar On Having Drinks With Her Ex-Husband Amey Gosavi, After Divorce

Sai Tamhankar is a popular Indian actress, who has appeared in films and television shows. She got married to a visual effects artist named Amey Gosavi on December 15, 2013. However, soon, they started facing a series of irreconciable issues in their happy marriage. As a result, Sai Tamankar and Amey Gosavi parted ways in 2015.

The exact reason behind their divorce is not known, but Sai Tamhankar and Amey Gosavi finalised their divorce in a sorted manner. As a result, they're still in contact and are good friends. In a recent interview with Hauterrfly, Sai Tamankar talked about her divorce from her ex-husband, Amey Gosavi. The actress shared that she and Amey, along with 8-10 friends, partied after finalising their divorce in court.

Opening up about her experience of going to the court, Sai Tamankar labelled it as a "fish market". The actress further shared that the divorce proceedings in the court were quite "weird", due to which she and Amey decided to relax, and it was when they went out for drinks. Opening up about the same, she said:

"The place is like a market where they shout both your names. And the shocking thing is that they addressed me through Sai Tamhankar Gosavi because that was apparently my name on the papers even though I hadn't changed it after marriage."

Further, in the same interview, Sai Tamhankar opened up about everything that had happened at the party. The actress revealed that some lovey-dovey talks had happened. She also added that almost everyone was crying at the party as people were giving her and Amey some life advice. Talking about the same, she said:

"There, everyone started crying, some lovey-dovey talks happened, and some life advice was shared. A few close friends knew about it, so they called to check on us. One by one, people started calling, saying, 'Hi, how are you? Is everything fine? What's going on?' As our friends kept calling, we told them where we were, and eventually, 8-10 people showed up. We drank, and we had a good time."

Even after parting ways with each other, Sai Tamhankar and Amey Gosavi are still in touch. The ex-couple is still on talking terms and never talked ill about each other. Apart from the turmoil in her personal life, Sai Tamhankar is working tremendously well on the professional front. The talented actress was last seen in Amazon Prime Video's thriller, Agni. Sai Tamhankar is renowned for a series of notable films and web shows, including Hunterr, Love Sonia, Mimi, India Lockdown, Misha, Kasturi, Fu Bai Fu, and Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra.
