Jagadish Vasudev, popularly known as Sadhguru is one of the most renowned spiritual leaders in the world. Sadhguru has been imparting yoga teachings since 1982 and has authored bestselling books like Inner Engineering: A Yogi's Guide to Joy and Karma: A Yogi's Guide to Crafting Your Destiny. His profound insights and eloquence have earned him invitations to speak at various international forums.
Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev has a massive fanbase of 12.3 million followers on his official Instagram handle. However, each of them got a mini heart attack when on March 20, 2024, their beloved spiritual leader posted a video in which he could be seen lying on a hospital bed. Along with the video, Sadhguru's team penned a long caption in which they revealed that Sadhguru was ignoring a severe headache for the past four weeks.

However, on March 15, 2024, an MRI of Sadhguru's brain showed massive bleeding in different parts of the brain. Despite suffering from severe bleeding in the brain, Sadhguru conducted his session and proved the mettle of his work ethic. On March 17, 2024, Sadhguru was rushed to the hospital, and after some tests, it was revealed that due to multiple bleeding in his brain, his brain had severe swelling. Due to the critical situation, Sadhguru underwent emergency surgery, which turned out to be successful.

Once Sadhguru's team updated people about his well-being, most netizens started thanking the almighty for his recovery. The reason why Sadhguru holds a big place in so many people's lives is because of the work he does in the fields of spirituality and nature. For the unversed, Sadhguru is deeply committed to environmental conservation and actively advocates for addressing climate change. He has initiated several impactful projects, including Project GreenHands (PGH), Rally for Rivers, Cauvery Calling, and the Journey to Save Soil.

Jagadish Vasudev Sadhguru was born on September 3, 1957, into a Telugu family in Mysore. As per multiple reports, Sadhguru was the youngest among five siblings, born to his parents, Susheela Vasudev and B.V. Vasudev. While his father worked as an ophthalmologist at the Mysuru Railway Hospital, his mother was a homemaker.

As per records, Sadhguru reportedly completed his basic education at Demonstration School, Mysore. After completing his schooling, he decided to enrol at the University of Mysore, where he pursued a degree in English literature.
During his time at the university, Sadhguru reportedly achieved second rank in his program and was one of the brightest students in his batch. Despite his parents' desire for him to pursue postgraduate studies, Sadhguru had a different vision and chose to embark on a business career instead.
After completing his studies at the University of Mysore, Sadhguru ventured into business by establishing a poultry farm in Mysore. However, at the age of 25, he started exploring spiritual experiences that led him to shut down his business ventures. It was a risky step, but Sadhguru believed in his love for yoga and embarked on a journey of teaching yoga in Mysore in 1983.
During his college days, Sadhguru fell in love with travelling, and reportedly, he went on a few motorcycle rides, which made him a rider. Even after college, when he started teaching yoga, he travelled to different places across Karnataka and Hyderabad on his motorcycle.
His unique style of yoga was known as Sahaja Sthiti Yoga. During this period, Sadhguru rented out his poultry farm to generate income and donated the money to needy people, which he earned from his yoga students.

Apart from being a spiritual leader, Jagadish Vasudev Sadhguru is also an automobile enthusiast. His love and madness for cars and bikes are simply incomparable. Over the years, we have seen him investing in some of the best cars and motorbikes in the world. Talking about the cars parked in Sadhguru's garage include a Mercedes–Benz G-Class G 63 AMG worth Rs. 2.44 crores and a 1000PS Toyota Scion worth lakhs.
However, more than the four-wheelers, Sadhguru is inclined towards motorbikes, and the list includes the likes of the BMW K 1600 GT worth Rs. 29.98 lakhs, Ducati Multistrada 1260 worth Rs. 21.42 lakhs and Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled worth Rs. 10.89 lakhs.
Jagadish Vasudev Sadhguru is also the founder of the Isha Foundation, which is headquartered in Coimbatore, India. Since its establishment in 1992, Sadhguru's Isha Foundation has been actively involved in educational and spiritual initiatives through its ashram and yoga centre. Over the years, we have seen Sadhguru launch many projects to preserve nature and wildlife.
Some notable ones are Project GreenHands (PGH), Cauvery Calling, Save Soil, and Rally for Rivers. Not only this, Sadhguru's Isha Foundation is also committed to transforming the lives of underprivileged children in India's rural areas.
