Rani Mukerji, one of the most talented actresses in the Hindi film industry, broke millions of hearts of his male fans when she got married to the man of her dreams, Aditya Chopra. The wedding was a hush-hush affair, and was attended only by the couple's close friends and family members. Rani and Aditya got married in a private ceremony in 2014, and no single photo from their wedding ever emerged. Recently, designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee shared a few details about Rani's private wedding soiree. For the unversed, it was Sabyasachi who was the designer of Rani's wedding outfit.

Sabyasachi Mukherjee reveals details from Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra's hush-hush wedding soiree

In an interview with Fashionably Pernia, Rani Mukerji's wedding outfit designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, revealed that the fun fact was that not a single photo ever came out from that soiree, but it was full of fun. Sabyasachi shared that Rani was extremely chilled out at this wedding soiree because it was between only close acquaintances, including Karan Johar, him, Rani, and Aditya. In Sabyasachi's words:

“You know who was fun to work with? It was actually Rani Mukerji. She never released the photos. But, the fact is that it was a mad wedding which was done between her, Adi (Aditya Chopra), Karan (Johar), and me. She was very chilled out.”

Sabyasachi Mukherjee had to design Rani Mukerji's wedding dress in one week

In the same interview, Sabyasachi Mukherjee revealed that one day, Rani came for lunch, and that's when she shared that she would get married within one week. Sabyasachi asked Rani how much time he would have to make her wedding dress, and the actress gave him the span of a week to craft the same. The designer revealed that in that short period of time, he had to put something together to craft that wedding dress. Sharing how witnessing people enjoying their weddings makes the designing process smooth, Sabyasachi shared:

"She came over for lunch one day and said that she is getting married. I asked her how much time I had and she said one week. I had to put something together in that much time. It’s fun when people enjoy their wedding. It just makes the process of designing for them so much more fun."

When Karan Johar had to lie to his mom to be a part of Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra's hush-hush wedding

In an old interview with News18, Karan Johar talked about Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra's wedding. He shared that Aditya came up to him and said that he and the actress would get married and there would only be 18 guests including the filmmaker. Aditya further warned KJo about not revealing the news anywhere. KJo, in the same interview, revealed that he had to lie to his own mom that he was attending his then-upcoming film, 2 States' promotional event to be a part of the wedding, while on the set, he lied that he had an event in Manchester and he would have to be there at any cost.
