Her name has been linked to kidnappings and money laundering cases related to organised crime. As per the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Ryan Wedding's wife's name is Miryam Andrea Castillo Moreno. 

According to the same report, Ryan Wedding's wife is a British Columbian entrepreneur with Iranian roots. Allegedly, she married Ryan while he was serving in a Texas prison in 2011. Miryam told the outlet that Ryan had claimed he wasn't guilty of the smuggling charges against him and was merely at the wrong place at the wrong time. Ryan Wedding has been connected to a lot of serious crimes. He is accused of leading an empire built on smuggling intoxicants from Colombia, via Mexico, into Canada and the U.S.A. For the unversed, Ryan was born in Canada, but he grew up in British Columbia. Apart from the smuggling, Ryan is also facing charges for allegedly ordering the execution of people. A double homicide of a couple in Ontario in November 2023 has been linked to Ryan Wedding. As per Global News, the couple were innocent and were executed by Ryan's henchmen in a case of mistaken identity.

The FBI has described Ryan Wedding as a very dangerous man who can and has killed many people to protect his illegal empire.

Ryan's name has been added to the FBI's Most Wanted List. This means that the organisation is using every resource to apprehend the wanted criminal, and putting him behind bars is a priority. Along with the U.S.A., Canada, and Mexico are also on the lookout for the former Olympian. With help from Canadian and Mexican authorities, the U.S.A. has put a huge bounty on Ryan Wedding's head.
