Rupali Ganguly's Stepdaughter, Esha Verma Breaks Down As She Gets Hate, 'I Was Blamed..'

Rupali Ganguly's stepdaughter, Esha Verma, made her Instagram account private after the actress sued her with a Rs. 50 crore defamation notice. She is once again in the limelight. The 27-year-old, whose Instagram handle is no longer private, recently had an emotional breakdown on her Instagram stories. Esha was seen getting teary and revealed that her own family was ruining her just to live their life. In the clip, she even addressed herself as the 'nepo kid', which she did not want to face.

Esha Verma cries and blames her own family for ruining her life

For the unversed, Esha had earlier accused Rupali Ganguly of breaking her parents' marriage. She is the daughter of Rupali's current husband, Ashwin Verma, who was married to Sapna Verma earlier. Esha alleged that Rupali had created distance between Ashwin and Sapna. The actress was silent for the longest time, but later sued Esha with a defamation suit. Both of them have been taking indirect digs at each other, and in her latest Instagram clip, she was seen crying profusely. In the clip, she addressed herself as a nepo kid who was kept in the shadows, and she grew up amid a lot of pain, silence and confusion. Esha, who is in New Jersey, revealed being scared and unprotected. In her words:

"You get scrutinised for wanting to speak up and you also get questioned, 'Where the fu*k did you go?’ When you have your own family, who wants to destroy you for just trying to live her life? I tried to be happy but we don’t talk about these things. There are fu*king crazy ass people who want to indulge in the drama. I'm working on moving forward-but this was my fight, and it was my right to speak on it. When the truth came out-unexpectedly and loudly-I was the one blamed."

Esha Verma confesses of being harassed

Esha, going ahead in the clip, shared that she is standing her ground and confessed of facing a very tough investigation for speaking the truth about Rupali. She shared that she tried her best to be happy, but these things are not spoken of as some people want to be involved in this drama. Esha's dad, Ashwin, separated from his former wife, Sapna, in 2008. She even slammed a media portal for writing clickbait headlines and shared that nobody had the right to write about her. This was because she was not an American but an Indian citizen. Esha further commented:

"I don't delete anything, and I'm not jealous. Try having your stepmother sue you for telling the truth, then watch her play victim when she has no legal ground to stand on. If you really want the truth, the announcement will come with time-and it won't be in the other party's favor. Also, I strongly suggest you stop obsessively monitoring my content and publishing misleading, clickbait headlines. I may have a public social media account, but that doesn't make me a public figure under Indian media jurisdiction."
