Rukhsar Rehman is one of the most talented actresses in the Hindi film industry. The gorgeous actress began her career back in 1992 with Deepak Anand's movie, Yaad Rakhegi Duniya, following which she was seen in J.K. Bihari's Inteha Pyar Ki. However, later she left her career just after the two films she did. She got married early, and by the age of 19, she became a mom to her daughter, Aisha.
Well, her marriage was filled with a turbulent atmosphere and she ran off with her little daughter, to reclaim her life. Rukhsar Rehman gave another chance to love when she got married to Faruk Kabir, but that marriage too didn't work in her favour. After more than a decade of togetherness, she and her husband parted ways. Recently, in an interview, the actress revealed her relationship status.
Recently, Rukhsar Rehman sat for an interview with ETimes, wherein she was asked about her current relationship status. Talking about the same, the actress revealed that she is single right now, and even if it can be termed properly, that's 'single-st'. She further added that she doesn't miss anything or anybody. Rukhsar mentioned that after 18 years of experience in her personal life, it's the first time that she's not missing anybody, while as for her companionship, she has her friends. In Rukhsar's words:
"Right now, I am as single as they come. I mean... the singlest! However, I’m not missing anything. After 18 years, I’m not missing anybody or any relationship. As for companionship, I have my friends.”
In the same interview, the actress said that her daughter, Aisha feels that her mom's taste in men is quite poor. She further stated that if she starts to think about anyone, then she sees red flags only. In the same interview, Rukhsar stated that in their society there was not a thing a 'red flag' and if any boy carries any kind of shortcomings, then one shouldn't go forward to marry them. In Rukhsar's words:
"Aisha wanted me to make a list, you know, like what are the qualities you seek in a man. She feels my choice in men is very bad."
Rukhsar stated that one thing that must be considered about a partner is that he should be honest and not a pathological liar, as that is everything. She further was asked if her idea about love had changed. To this, she said that it never changed for what she experienced, but it evolved over the years, as it had never been the same in her 30s, the way it had been in her 20s. In Rukhsar's words:

"Honestly, I didn’t even know red flags were a thing in our society. But truly, if a boy has some shortcomings that bother you, you shouldn’t get married. I would say he person should be honest. He should not be a pathological liar. That’s very dangerous. It eventually comes out so easily, and nobody forgets that they lied. It just ruins life."
In the same interview, Rukhsar talked about her career as she was asked about her decision to leave it at its peak. To this, the actress shared that she doesn't regret anything, and there might be a possibility of her being on her toes and assertive if she hadn't leave her career at its peak. She further added that she is not a go-getter, and she's fine with that. The actress stated that currently, the biggest difference is responsibility, which led her to carry her work and character to a certain place.
In the same interview, Rukhsar Rehman stated that she started to play a glamourised older role even when she was young, and for the same, she used to apply brown powder on her face. The actress stated that over the years, she realised that the ad commercials and the movies that she was working on actually were kind of similar, so it was needed to break the loop. She stated how her real age and her screen age did not match up, for that matter, and how eventually, it became a huge issue, which troubled her.
