Ronit Roy REVEALS If He Is Joining Rupali Ganguly's 'Anupamaa', 'I Am Not Averse Doing A..'

Popular actor, Ronit Roy, has been in the conversation lately, as an earlier report by News 18 shared that the makers of Anupamaa will introduce a new 'Vanraj Shah' after the leap. Anupamaa, a popular TV show that rose to fame due to Rupali Ganguly playing the titular role, has been in the news. The new track is focusing on the actress returning to dance with her new squad from Mumbai. Anupamaa is shown to have a face-off with her daughter, Raahi. Now, it is being reported that Ronit has been roped in to play the titular role of Vanraj.

Ronit Roy opens up on whether he will be doing Anupamaa

For the unversed, the famous character of 'Vanraj' was earlier played by Sudhanshu Pandey, who had quit the show after years. The storyline is being revamped in a way that the makers reportedly wanted Ronit to enter as the new 'Vanraj'. The actor sat down for an interview with ETimes and squashed all rumours related to the same. He reacted to his return on the small screen after leaving the same and shared:

"So, I'm not averse to doing a long show or being on television for a longer time. However, as I mentioned, there is still much to be desired on television. 25 years from when I began. And the world has changed. Some things need to be fixed regarding television. So, once that happens, I will likely be back. Till such time, I'm happy where I am."

The development came after Sudhanshu exited the show, and his departure made his character absent from the show. Anupamaa did see a dip in the TRP ratings post a generation gap and is now gaining speed after bringing back strong characters together.

Sources close to the Anupamaa show have refuted Ronit Roy's entry in the show

A source close to the publication shared that Ronit is not entering Anupamaa as per earlier sources who claimed that the actor will soon make his debut on the show as 'Vanraj'. On the other hand, Rupali is leading the show, and her character is seen remaking her life in Mumbai through her culinary and dancing skills. The source close to Anupamaa show revealed that Ronit is not in the serial and shared:

"There haven't been any developments regarding Vanraj on the show. These are just speculations and there isn't anything true about it.'

Will Gaurav Khanna and Ronit Roy enter the Anupamaa show together

Earlier, reports were doing the rounds that Gaurav, who played the titular role of 'Anuj Kapadia' in the serial, will be coming back to the show. However, there has been no confirmation related to the same. For the unversed, Gaurav's character had already exited the show after the leap, and he had earlier hinted that his exit was just a comma. It looked like the star would possibly return back to the show. Well, on the other hand, Ronit has strictly revealed not doing Anupamaa. Reports were suggesting that he would be playing the role of 'Mihir Virani' in Ekta Kapoor's Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi serial, reboot version. Fans were eager to see him on the show as much as they were anticipating seeing him in Anupamaa. However, Ronit did confirm that he is not a part of the show.
