After 12 years of heartbreak, the legendary players of Team India signed off the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in style! On March 9, 2025, the Dubai International Stadium erupted in joy with crowds chanting ‘India’ as Ravindra Jadeja smashed the winning boundary, beating New Zealand by four wickets. Amid all the celebrations for this glorious win, what caught everyone’s eyes was a heartwarming dandiya dance by Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

Minutes after Ravindra Jadeja smashed the winning boundary to seal India’s glorious win, the two cricketing icons, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, turned the celebration into an unforgettable spectacle. The duo shared an emotional hug before grabbing the match stumps, only to turn them into makeshift dandiya sticks, and break into an impromptu garba-dandiya dance on the field.

Their joyful, Gujarat-style celebration has since taken social media by storm, symbolising not only India’s triumph but also the close bond between these two iconic players. This heartwarming moment between Sharma and Kohli is extra special for Indian cricket fans, as this could be the last time they see these two players in ICC Champions Trophy action.

While Rohit and Kohli’s dandiya moment has all our hearts, we captured some other warm moments from the final match. Ravindra Jadeja, who has become the hero of the match, was seen lifting Team India’s head coach, Gautam Gambhir, who could not help but break into a smile. On the other hand, Ravindra Jadeja, Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh unleashed their best ‘Gangnam Style’ moves on the field. 

In a video that showed the players inside the players’ dressing room, Virat was seen roaring in joy. He also hugged Gautam Gambhir and assistant coach Abhishek Nayar to celebrate India’s glorious win.
