Rohit Saraf is best known for playing 'Rishi' opposite, Prajakta Koli in Netflix's romantic series, Mismatched. His chemistry with 'Dimple' (Prajakta's character name) from the series had made fans root for them in real life. However, there isn't much mentioned about his past relationships. Rohit is a hopeless romantic, as he fell in love for the first time when he entered his teens.
Rohit has never spilt any major details surrounding his love life. His fans could not digest when his reel life 'Dimple' (Prajakta) married her real-life 'Rishi' (Vrishank Khanal). However, for anyone, their first love is always special, and it can happen at any age. Love is a feeling and an emotion that surpasses logic, and it is said, "Sacha pyaar ek baar hi hota hai". Rohit, in an old interview with Curly Tales, once spoke about his first girlfriend, whom he met when he was 13. In his words:
"What was girlfriend at that time? I like yo you like me ok whatever. Mumma knows everything."
It seems like the actor has a great bond with his mom and likes to share personal details related to his life. Rohit, who does not come from a filmy background, is best known for Dear Zindagi, The Sky Is Pink, but found fame with Mismatched.
Rohit, who is touted as the 'national crush' of India, in an interview with NDTV, shared how his parents had set an image of love in his mind. He also revealed how he admired his schoolteacher, for whom he used to make cards for him as he had a crush. Rohit shared:
"I've grown up watching love all around me. My parents were an ideal couple; they always stood by each other. And so, as a kid, I'd dream of a love like that. But the first time I really admired someone, it was my school teacher."
Rohit also shared his teacher used to call him cute when he had to shave his head and become bald as he had his mundan ceremony. He recollected being 7, the only boy in school with long hair, and one fine day, he was all bald. His classmates teased him while his teacher comforted him and said he looked cute. Rohit said:

"I used to make cards for her; each card said, 'To my favourite teacher!' It was the first time I'd felt something for someone."
Breakups hurt the most and so was the case with Rohit. After his heart was broken for the first time, he put Justin Bieber's song, Baby, as a status. However, he missed his first love when he went on a trip and when he came back, he again confessed his feelings, but then they parted ways. He had thought his heart would never be broken.
