Rohit Purohit is one of the biggest names in television at the moment after having bagged the main lead role in Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Rohit joined the cast midway after Rajan Shahi terminated the former lead, Shehzada Dhami for misconduct on the sets. However, Rohit made a place in the viewers' hearts with his impeccable acting and humility.
On the personal front, Rohit is married to actress, Sheena Bajaj. The couple tied the knot on January 22, 2019, and embarked on their journey of 'happily ever after' as husband and wife. The couple has been happily married for five years now, and talking about the same, Rohit revealed about their baby plans.

In an interview with ETimes, Rohit was asked if there is parental pressure on him and Sheena to have a baby soon as the couple has been married for five years. Talking about it, Rohit shared that there was some pressure previously, but as of now, his parents are no longer pressurising him but are expectant of the couple. In Rohit's words:
"I won't call it pressure but my parents do have expectations. Once there was a pressure on us but as of now, we are all on the same page. My dad is retired and my mother is a housewife. They live in Jaipur, so they definitely expect me to begin a family life."
Rohit even added that his parents now understand that he and Sheena want to achieve certain things in their professional lives before embracing parenthood. So they are giving them the required space but are still hoping that they will soon be promoted to grandparents. He said:
"They have left the decision on us and have told us that it's your life, you decide when you want to start a family. So, there is no pressure at all."

Rohit and Sheena met for the first time in 2012 on the sets of their show, Arjun. They became friends, but soon, their friendship blossomed into love. The couple dated for a while before tying the knot in a dreamy wedding ceremony.
