Something similar happened when Neha couldn't control her tears after she arrived three hours late at the Melbourne show. The restless audience booed at her, and soon the video made rounds on the internet, and netizens further trolled her, calling it a drama. Now, her husband, Rohanpreet Singh, shared a note supporting his wife, Neha Kakkar.

Rohanpreet took to his Instagram and shared a post, wherein he wrote in Punjabi that, with a lot of humbleness, he was asking people not to pass judgement without knowing both sides of the story.

Further, in his note, Rohanpreet revealed that he has huge respect for his wife and the crew, who went on the stage after facing a lot of difficulties and chaos. A snippet of his note can be read as:

Neha Kakkar's first reaction to the massive trolling after the Melbourne concert

Neha Kakkar faced major backlash for breaking down on stage; people judged and stated that her crying was nothing new, and some even trolled the actress. On March 27, 2025, Neha took to her Instagram handle and shared an IG story, wherein she urged fans to wait for the truth and wrote:

"Wait for the truth, you'll regret judging me so quickly."

What went wrong at Neha Kakkar's Melbourne concert

A few days ago, Neha's videos from the Melbourne concert surfaced on the internet. In the video, she was seen crying and apologising to the audience repeatedly. She also assured the crowd that she would compensate for the lost time. But according to murmurs, she left quickly. She was quoted as saying:

"You have been really sweet and patient itni der se aap log wait kar rahe ho. I hate it. Maine life mein kabhi kisi ko wait nahi karwaya. Aap itne der se wait kar rahe ho. I'm so sorry. You mean the world to me. Aap log itne sweet ho. I was so worried about ki kya hoga . It means a lot to me. I'll always remember this evening forever. But I'll make sure, aap log jo mere liye itna keemati time nikaal ke aaye ho, I will make you all dance."

After receiving a lot of hate from angry netizens and concert attendees, it was singer Twinkle Aggarwal who came forward and shared the truth about the whole incident. She revealed that the sponsor of the show ran away with their money, and the concert was almost about to get cancelled. However, Neha decided to still perform on stage without the dancers for her fans.
