However, just hours before their grand celebration, the wedding was postponed indefinitely, citing Smirti's father's health as the reason. Nonetheless, the Indian cricketer and Bollywood music composer's postponed wedding soon created an intense buzz online. 

While people initially blamed nazar for this, the viral screenshots now seem to have changed the theories, suggesting that Palaash might have cheated on the star player. Amid that, RJ Mahvash seems to have taken an indirect shot at Palaash Muchhal.

RJ Mahvash takes an indirect dig at Palaash Muchhal amid cheating buzz

Smriti Mandhana and Palaash Muchhal's wedding has been the center of all social media chatter. While at first it was out of awe for the cricket star's fairytale romance, the waves are now more shocked and concerned as the internet has been speculating that Palaash cheated on Smriti. It all began after a series of screenshots surfaced online, reportedly showing Palaash flirting with another woman. Amid this, RJ Mahvash has further stirred the pot with what users believe is an indirect jab at Palaash Muchhal.

RJ Mahvash is known for her outspoken persona and for her witty, relatable Instagram videos. However, she might have gotten too real with her recent post. Mahvash took to her Instagram handle and posted a clip shortly after the wedding postponement became a trending topic. The content and timing of her remarks led many viewers to assume she was referring to Palaash Muchhal. In the video, she can be quoted as saying:

"Mard bhi na bada hee pyari cheez hota hai, jab poocho toh single hee hota hai… see brother, I don't know the truth and lie, but mere shaadi ke waqt na main apna dulha kr rahi hoon internet pe 1 hafta pahle launch…aur mera waala jiskey bhi DMs mei suhaagraat mana raha hoga na, bas aake mujhe bata dena. Aur ye mat sochana ki 'ab toh shaadi ho rahi hai kaise tooteygi, yeh toh trust karti hogi uspe'. Nahi."

In the same video, RJ Mahvash can be heard asking the women to send her screenshots, even right before the wedding. She humorously states that she doesn't trust anyone and fully believes that anyone can do anything. She added that if something like this happens, they should either make the screenshots public or send them to her. She was quoted as saying:

"Mai duniya mei kisi pe trust nahi karti. Ab mai kisi ke liye ye nahi keh paati ki, ye banda toh aaisa kar hi nahi sakta. Koi bhi kuch bhi kar sakta hai. Tum uskey screenshot public kar dena warna mujhe personal message mei bhej dena, mai public kar dungi. Aur ho sakta hai mai public bhi na karu, mai bas sukoon se nikal ke jaana chahati hoon. Tum machao dost. Phadh ke rakh di hai tumey sabki."

Further in the conversation, RJ Mahvash suggested that if women are talking to someone on Snapchat or have disappearing messages enabled, they should use a different phone and record the chat. Though her tone remains playful, social media users quickly connected the dots, suggesting the remarks mirrored the online allegations surrounding Palaash. She was quoted as saying:

"Aur agar tum disappearing messages ya snapchat pe baat kartey ho toh doosre phone se bana ke bhej dena. Bas bhej dena time se. Bas shaadi se pehle mujhe bata dena. Bas bacha lena doston tumhaare hawaale watan saathiyon. Please, girls."

Initially, the reports confirmed that the wedding had been postponed due to a health emergency involving Smriti's father, Shrinivas Mandhana. He has since been discharged and is reportedly stable. Complicating matters further, Palaash was also hospitalised during the same period due to a viral infection, with his sister Palak Muchhal seen at the hospital.

However, amid this, an alleged chat involving a choreographer named Mary D'Costa began circulating online. While these screenshots remain unverified, they quickly triggered speculation across social platforms. Neither Palaash nor his family has issued any statement addressing the viral content, but the overlap in timelines has fuelled unconfirmed theories about its role in the wedding delay. Smriti also deleted the proposal video from her Instagram handle, further intensifying the rumours.
