Late actor, Rishi Kapoor and his wife, Neetu Kapoor are blessed with two children, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Ranbir Kapoor. There is no denying that Rishi and Ranbir were not close while the former was alive. Time and again, the late actor made shocking revelations about his dynamics with his son and accepted that he ruined his relationship with him. Moreover, Rishi has often highlighted Ranbir's playboy image in the media and revealed interesting details.
Recently, we stumbled upon an old clip of Rishi Kapoor which has resurfaced on Reddit. In the clip, Rishi was asked if he had any issues with his son, Ranbir Kapoor, having girlfriends, and the late actor said 'No'. He also added that he once visited Ranbir’s house when the latter was in a live-in relationship, but mentioned that he did not know the name of the girl. The late actor said:

“I don’t have any problems with his girlfriends. He’s always brought his girlfriends home. I’ve been to his house when he was sharing a house with a girlfriend of his. I don’t know her name.”

The host tried to dig for more information and asked Rishi if the girl in question was Katrina Kaif, but the actor denied it. He further hinted that Katrina was one of the girls who were in a live-in relationship with Ranbir. In Rishi's words:
“She was also one of them.”
Rishi Kapoor also opened up about his relationship with his son, Ranbir Kapoor and shared that he has been a conservative father. He added that Ranbir has always given him respect and that the latter doesn’t smoke in front of him. He said:
“I don’t mind it. It’s out of respect that he doesn’t smoke in front of me. I didn’t in front of my father, my father didn’t in front of his father. It’s something purely out of respect, and it’s just that I’m built that way.”

Earlier, during an interview with Mumbai Mirror in 2015, Rishi Kapoor talked about his son, Ranbir’s decision to move out of the family home and expressed his feelings about the same. The late actor mentioned that he got his space when he got married to Neetu Kapoor, so he was okay with Rabir moving out of the house. Admitting that he had screwed his relationship with his son, Rishi added:
“My father gave me space when I moved out after marriage, and I give Ranbir his space too when he decided to move out and share a home with his girlfriend. In this house, he had one room: how could that be enough for a 33-year-old boy? He’s a great son, he listens to me, but I don’t interfere in his career because my career is mine and his is his. I know I’ve screwed up my relationship with Ranbir even though my wife kept telling me about what I was doing."
