Rishabh Tandon's Last IG Post Was With His Russian Wife On Karwa Chauth Days Before His Sudden Death

Famous singer, Rishabh Tandon, is known as 'Faqeer', a stage name he had proudly adopted. However, the 35-year-old Rishabh passed away due to a sudden heart attack in New Delhi. According to reports, he has been in Delhi since August 2025, as his father was not keeping well. Now, his last post has been going viral on the internet, featuring him with his wife on their Karwa Chauth.

Days before his death, Rishabh Tandon celebrated Karwa Chauth with his wife, Olesya Tandon, who hails from Russia. The IG post showed Oleysa was dressed up in a rani-pink-hued Punjabi suit with a matching dupatta. On the other hand, Rishabh wore a cream-hued jacket with a black-hued t-shirt underneath it. The couple was busy performing the Karwa Chauth ritual. The IG post has been going viral, and fans cannot believe that Rishabh is no more.

Rishabh Tandon's love story with Olesya

For those who don't know, Rishabh and Olesya often shared adorable posts on Instagram, which reflected their endless love for each other. Talking about their love story, Olesya is a Russian national, worked as a line producer during one of Rishabh's digital shoots in Uzbekistan. They met during the project and felt sparks of love. Later, they shifted together in Mumbai.  

Rishabh and Olesya come from different religious faiths and upbringings in different countries. Despite it, the cultural, language, and religious differences never hampered their relationship. In an interview with The Times of India, Rishabh revealed that his life after marriage has been amazing, and while they have language and cultural differences, they navigate their way through love. He said:

“Life after marriage has been quite exciting, especially since my wife, Olesya, is from Russia. Of course, we’ve faced some challenges with language barriers and cultural differences, but the love language we share has helped us navigate through these hurdles."

It is worth mentioning that Rishabh was earlier rumoured to be dating Sara Khan. A picture of the two went viral, showing Sara sporting sindoor, which led people to think that they got married. When the buzz intensified, Sara clarified that they never got married and denied the relationship rumours. Over the years, Rishabh kept his focus on his work and avoided being part of any controversy.

Rishabh is a famous singer, and fans loved his every song. He gained immense popularity as a music composer. He is also famous for his songs such as Rashna: The Ray of Light, Faqeer- Living Limitless, and Ishq Fakeerana. His last song was released on Valentine's Day 2025 and gained a huge fan following on YouTube.

However, not many know that Rishabh took a long break from singing after the release of his first album. He wanted to take care of his family and manage his father's business. But in 2020, he found his love back to singing. After a long break, he returned to the singing domain and took almost four years to restart composing songs.
