Ranbir Kapoor's sister, Riddhima Kapoor got married to the love of her life, Bharat Sahni, on January 25, 2006. And after five years of their marital bliss, the dup hopped onto the parenthood journey by welcoming their daughter, Samara Sahni. Cut to now, Samara is 13 years old, and her love for the camera is not unknown to anyone. Being in such a time, when social media has captivated the world, Samara is no exception, and unlike her mama, Ranbir, she has a private account on IG. Recently, Riddhima, being a doting mom to her daughter revealed her take on the little one having an account on IG.
Recently, Riddhima Kapoor and Bharat Sahni sat for an interview with Galatta Plus, wherein they talked about the trolls that their 13-year-old daughter, Samara has faced. The doting mother and father of Samara mentioned that it actually bothers them when their daughter comes across such meaningless trolling at such a tender age.

To this, Samara added that there are actually a lot of 'creepy' people online. Riddhima then shared that she keeps an eye on her daughter's social media account. Speaking along the same lines, Riddhima revealed that along with receiving love from the netizens, Samara often faces hate comments, and she needs to just delete her daughter's account.
Talking more about the same, Riddhima mentioned that the only way to deal with social media trolling is to develop thick skin, which, again, she thinks wouldn't be apt for a 13-year-old kid to have. Riddhima mentioned that her daughter is choosing this for herself as she wants to be on social media. Mentioning that she wants her daughter to go off on social media, Riddhima said:
"There will be people who will love you or like you. Either you develop a thick skin, and I don’t think it’s fair to tell a 13-year-old to develop a thick skin. But this is the choice that she is making. She wants to be on social media, I don’t want her to be on social media. I want her off.”
Neetu Kapoor, along with Ranbir and Riddhima, appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show. While being there, Kapil asked Riddhima and Neetu if Samara loves the camera. To this, Riddhima agreed and mentioned that whenever the little one spots the camera she starts to pose. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor revealed a cutesy anecdote about his niece and revealed that when he took Samara to Jeh's birthday party, ahead of that, she was asking if there would be paps and even showing him the poses that she would give in front of the shutterbugs, and it was all things cute.

It was back in February 2024 when Riddhima Kapoor, along with her daughter, Samara, was spotted at the Mumbai airport. In several videos that went viral, Riddhima could be seen busy talking with the airport authorities while Samara turned back and instantly started striking cutesy posses for the shutterbugs. However, as the videos were dropped, netizens called Samara cute, while others noticed that Riddhima was a bit embarrassed.
