Riddhima Kapoor Sahni CONFIRMS She Will Soon Make Her Bollywood Debut, 'We Are Shooting...'

Riddhi Kapoor Sahni hails from the popular Kapoor clan in Bollywood. She is the daughter of later actor, Rishi Kapoor and veteran actress, Neetu Kapoor, and has often been in the spotlight due to her family lineage. Despite her brother, Ranbir Kapoor choosing to step into his parents' footprints and enter the Hindi film industry, Riddhima chose to stay away from the camera and became a jewellery designer. Irrespective of her career choice, the media has always been interested in the diva's life, and in turn, she grew more comfortable with the camera. Riddhima made her on-screen debut in 2024 with Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives S3 and has now spoken about her plans to feature on the big screen. 

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni confirms she is soon going to make her film debut 

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni's presence in Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives S3 added more interesting content to the show. Among others, she too became a subject of discussion and new speculation about her big screen debut made rounds on the internet in the last few days. Amid the reports, Riddhima herself stepped out and confirmed the news with the Hindustan Times. She shared that she has already started filming for it. In her words:

"Yes, I am filming a movie in the hills. All I can say is that we are shooting here until June."

However, the diva chose not to reveal anything more about the project. Some media reports earlier claimed that she would make her Hindi film debut along with Kapil Sharma. Moreover, even her mother, Neetu Kapoor was speculated to be a part of it. However, Riddhima didn't make any comment about it, but rather shared that she is enjoying the process. Sharing how everyone in her family is excited about the project, she said:

"They are so excited. I keep sending them snippets of the scene, and yes, fully supportive - the best part is Mom and I staying together, and we rehearse our lines every day. Samara (daughter) is going to visit me once her school breaks for the summer holidays."

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni reveals she didn't plan to completely enter the film industry 

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni comes from a family of stars, but acting on-screen didn't ever appeal to Riddhima. Instead, she was more interested in her mother, Neetu Kapoor's jewellery and pursued a career in jewellery designing. When she made a stint in Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives S3, everyone suspected that Riddhima was planning to enter films. However, she revealed that she didn't planned to enter films, rather agreed to do the film due to its wonderful storyline. She said:

"I didn't plan this. When I was approached, I just said yes. I heard the script and loved it."

When Neetu Kapoor shared why her daughter, Riddhima, didn't enter the Hindi film industry 

Previously, in an interview with ETimes, Riddhima was asked about the reason that kept her away from the world of films. In her reply, she mentioned that depsite being the daughter of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, she never thought about acting. Consequently, there was no discussion. However, she mentioned that during her college days, when she studied in London, she used to receive a lot of acting offers. But, when Riddhima came back, she tied the knot with her now husband, Bharat Sahni. She had said:

"Oh gosh! Kidhar se karu acting (how do I act)? When I was in London, I was getting a lot of film offers, but I don't think I ever thought of it. Not that I even had a discussion about it with my family. I came back from London and got married. When I was studying, I remember my mother would tell me about the film offers coming my way, and I'd wonder what to make of them because I was only 16-17 at the time."
