Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are the doting parents of their baby girl, Raha Kapoor, who has really won everyone's hearts. They often make public appearances with Raha and also speak about their little munchkin. Ranbir's sister, Riddhima, said he suddenly 'changes near his daughter,' acting like that only when she is there or when on camera.
During a chat session with Galatta India, asked what had altered in Ranbir Kapoor after having a daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni smiled and noted that Ranbir's eyes now gleams and brightens up when he looks at his daughter. Riddhima said Ranbir 'becomes a new person around his daughter.' She further explained that, otherwise, he stays really quiet and calm, describing him as peaceful, stating that he only acts like that in front of the camera and when his daughter is around. "Ranbir's eyes sparkle and shine when he sees his daughter; he literally becomes a new person. Otherwise, he is usually very quiet and calm; he is a zen. He only acts like that in front of the camera and when his daughter is around ."
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni talked about a message from her sister-in-law, Alia Bhatt. In a voice note shared with Galatta India, Alia said that she felt very proud of Riddhima's accomplishments and that she was 'fabulous.' Alia also mentioned that Riddhima often knew current news and gossip , even more than her brother, Ranbir Kapoor. Alia jokingly said that she believes Riddhima shares true stories and stays really ahead, especially compared to Ranbir.
During an earlier conversation on Nikhil Kamath's podcast, Ranbir Kapoor expressed the strong feelings he felt when he held his daughter, Raha, for the very first time. He said being a father changed him a lot. It led him to reconsider his past thoughts about not being attached and not caring.
The Animal actor shared that having a child felt like starting life anew as if his first 40 years were another life. He confessed that he never feared dying before Raha and strangely thought he would pass at 71 because of his fixation on the number 8.

However, after Raha arrived, his view changed, and 71 now seems too early, showing how much becoming a dad has transformed him. Kapoor accepted that living longer appeals to him now, along with wishing for a better lifestyle. The Love and War actor shared that he quit smoking, a battle he started at age 17.
In the same session with Galatta India, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni explained that her daughter, Samara, felt jealous when Riddhima wished to hold her niece, Raha, but ended up not doing that. She also said that the only one who used to call her "Mushk" was her father, Rishi Kapoor, and now Raha tries to say that. However, Sahni noted, "Raha called me b oohaa because she struggled to say bua ."
