Daughter of late Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni is a successful entrepreneur. She is married to Delhi-based businessman, Bharat Sahni, and together, they are blessed with a daughter, Samara Sahni. Despite being the sister of actor, Ranbir Kapoor, and the daughter of superstars, Riddhima prefers to stay away from the limelight. However, her daughter, Samara, is the opposite when it comes to the world of glamour and socialising.
In an interview with UK-based radio jockey, Anushka Arora, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni opened up about her daughter, Samara and talked about the latter's online presence. Riddhima mentioned that when Samara is active on Instagram, it makes her watch out for her, as her teenage daughter is vulnerable to vicious comments online. She said:

“At times it worries me, because she is (active) a lot on social media, she posts pictures and videos of hers almost every day.”

Speaking along the same lines, Riddhima stated that she has asked Samara to make her account private if she wants to be on Instagram. However, the teenager refuses to do so because she wants to get more followers. Riddhima added that her daughter reads comments online, which bothers her a lot, but she finds it challenging to keep the latter away from Instagram. In Riddhima's words:
“I told her that if she wants to be on Instagram, she needs to go private. But that’s a challenge. I didn’t want her to be on social media because of all the trolling and she is your typical 13-year-old. She tends to read comments and obviously it plays in the back of your mind when people write not-so-nice things about her. I told her she needs to go private or get off social media. But she says if she goes private, she won’t get followers!”
Riddhima also mentioned that Samara’s Instagram account is now private. She said that her daughter is a people's person and is a naughty but obedient child. While Riddhima finds it very hard to discipline Samara, her husband loves to spoil the little one. Talking about the same, Riddhima said:
“I try very hard to discipline her, but my husband spoils her! I do everything in my stride to get some discipline. At least I try. It is a different generation though.”

Further in the interview, Riddhima revealed that she had attended Taylor Swift’s concert in London with her daughter, Samara, and her mother, Neetu Kapoor. Revealing her experience, she dubbed the mother-daughter duo as 'certified Swifties' and mentioned that Samara was enjoying, screaming, and singing. Talking about the concert, Riddhima said:
“Samara was enjoying, screaming, singing! I had to calm her down, that take it easy! It was Swift, so zindagi safal hogayi, aur kya chahiye.”
