Raveena Tandon's Nasty Dig At Ajay Devgn For Cheating On Her With Karisma, 'Babies Will Look Zebra'

Raveena Tandon had her fair share of linkups, and she garnered a lot of limelight for them. She was once madly in love with Akshay Kumar, and they even had an elaborate engagement. Akshay was quite a ‘casanova’, who had flings with multiple actresses of his time. However, things took an ugly turn, and Raveena called it off with Akshay. And as destiny had it, the duo parted ways on an ugly note. Raveena was also in a rumoured relationship with Ajay Devgn, but the latter left her for Karisma Kapoor.

Raveena Tandon was heartbroken after Ajay Devgn dumped her for Karisma Kapoor. She was so furious that she crossed the line by making a racist remark against her ex-boyfriend. In an interview with Stardust magazine, the Mohra actress made a controversial comment on Ajay and Karisma's hypothetical babies, which turned into a cover story. Raveena had said:

“She can keep Ajay. I am not interested. When Ajay Karisma have babies, they will look like Zebras.”

Raveena Tandon clearly had a feud with her Andaz Apna Apna co-star, Karisma Kapoor because of personal as well as professional reasons. Talking about her cold war with Karisma, in a conversation with IBTimes, Raveena had indirectly mentioned that the former got her removed from four films due to insecurity. When Raveena was asked why she refused to pose with Karisma at a party, she retorted: 

"It doesn't make me a superstar if I pose with a Karisma Kapoor today. She doesn't feature in my life in any which way. I'm a professional, I don't care. I would pose with a broomstick if need be. Karisma and I are not the best of friends. Ditto with Ajay. Professionally I'm ready to work with Ajay or Karisma. Where work is concerned I don't bother about these stupid ego problems."

Raveena Tandon's affair with Akshay Kumar and rumours of their engagement

After calling it quits, Akshay Kumar, in a 1998 interview with Rediff.com, confirmed the rumours of his engagement with Raveena Tandon. However, he also clarified that the rumours of their wedding were completely baseless. Even after parting ways, Akshay and Raveena had worked together in films, Barood and Keemat. Reacting to the rumours of his secret marriage with Raveena, Akshay had said:

"It was only an engagement which broke up later. But excuse me, we were not married at all. In fact, I've been shooting for a long time with Raveena even after we broke up."
