Raveena Tandon Bashes Men For Filming Katrina Kaif During Mahakumbh 'Snan', Says 'It's Disgusting..'

Mahakumbh Mela 2025 was the biggest spiritual gathering on earth. It was not mere exaggeration, but facts. The event started on the occasion of Paush Purnima, and crores of people took the opportunity to take a dip in the Sangam for the Shahi Snan. India is considered the hub of spirituality. It is the same place where renowned saints, gods, and goddesses decided to stay, and hence, to have a deeper understanding of life, one can visit Mahakumbh.

It was on March 1, 2025, when Mamaraazzi shared a video on their Instagram handle, which featured two men recording the actress, Katrina Kaif. For the unversed, Katrina had taken a dip in the holy Sangam with her mother-in-law in the last week of Mahakumbh. However, while the actress was taking the dip, she was surrounded by a crowd of men. The videos soon surfaced on the internet and showed other pilgrims vying for a selfie or reaction from the actress.

As soon as the video was shared on Instagram, netizens chimed in to share their dismay with the occurrences. Among the commenters was actress Raveena Tandon, who had also visited the Mahakumbh. She penned, "This is disgusting. These kinds of people spoil a moment that is supposed to be peaceful and meaningful." Another user penned, "This is sad ! and disturbing." An Instagram user stated, "That's why celebrities need VIP treatment!" A comment read, "This is terrible. How are people so shameless?" A user also pointed out how wrong it was and stated:

"That's why VVIP treatment is required. Warna aise log paap dhoke paap kr lete hn. Mann saaf hoga kaha se."

Several celebrities, politicians and other A-listers took the opportunity to take a dip in Triveni Sangam during the Mahakumbh Mela. And, while it's understandable for fans to get excited seeing their favourite celebrity in real life. A video that recently surfaced online has raised questions regarding their behaviour towards the celebrities.

The video was shared by Mamaraazzi, which showed a bunch of men filming Katrina and joking about her as she took the dip and prayed in the river. The video featured two men filming themselves. One of the men stated, "Ye main hu, ye mera bhai hai, aur ye Katrina Kaif." and turned the camera towards the actress who was indulging in the rituals during the snan. Men can be heard laughing in the background, which deeply upset the netizens, with many calling out the men for harassing Katrina.
