Every now and then, his old pictures and videos trend on social media, reminding everyone of his greatness. The way he cared for his country and its people is something that you can only expect from the Tatas.
Over the decades, we have seen them play a huge role in India's development, and we hope the newly appointed chairman of the Tata Trusts, Noel Tata, takes his family's legacy to a notch higher. For the uninitiated, Noel Tata is the son of Ratan Tata's father, Naval H. Tata's second marriage with Simone Tata.

After Ratan Tata's heartbreaking demise at the age of 86, his half-brother, Noel took over Tata Trusts, which received the backing of most industry experts. Once again, the late billionaire business tycoon is in the headlines after it was reported that Ratan Tata has left an estimated estate of over Rs. 10,000 crore.
According to a report in The Times Of India, Ratan Tata clearly mentioned in his will that his beloved dog, Tito, will be cared for by his cook, Rajan Shaw. For the uninitiated, Ratan Tata adopted the German Shepherd around five to six years ago and gave him the name of his previous dog, Tito. The billionaire has asked for 'unlimited care' for his dog and rested his faith on his longtime cook, Rajan Shaw, who is also reportedly getting a slice from his fortune worth Rs. 10,000 crore.
The next name in Ratan Tata's will that has created a stir on the internet is the mention of his butler named Subbiah. Subbiah worked with Ratan Tata for three decades and shared a friendly bond with the billionaire. If the reports are to be believed, Ratan Tata used to buy designer clothes for Subbiah as he always took care of him and treated him as a family member.

Apart from his beloved dog, cook, and butler, Ratan Tata has also mentioned the names of his half-siblings, Noel Tata, Shireen, and Deanna Jejeebhoy. Not only this, Ratan Tata has also mentioned his real brother, Jimmy Tata's name in his will. It will be interesting to see whether we will witness mention of any other family member's name in the will or not.
When Ratan Tata passed away, all the eyes were on the future of his young assistant, Shantanu Naidu. People were worried whether his position in the Tata Trusts would be affected or not. Well, nothing has changed, and Shantanu is still working as a GM of Tata Trusts, which speaks volumes about the value system there. Talking about Ratan Tata's will, the billionaire clearly mentioned that Tata Trusts will continue providing all the benefits to Naidu's venture, Goodfellows, and will also waive his educational expenses.
As per the report, Ratan Tata's stake in other Tata Group companies will be transferred to RTEF (Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation). The awards and recognitions will be transferred to Tata Central Archives. Regarding the future of his cars, Tata Group will acquire them or auction them at its Pune museum.
