The business tycoon with a golden heart, Ratan Tata, bid adieu to the world on October 9, 2024, leaving a permanent vacuum in the lives of many people. The news of his demise was extremely emotional for everyone. And now, glimpses of his heart-wrenching antim darshan are doing the rounds on social media.
It was none other than Mr Tata’s young assistant, Shantanu Naidu, who led the yatra on his bike. With full state honours, the mortal remains of the business tycoon, wrapped in tricolour, reached NCPA for public homage. Hundreds of people gathered at NCPA to pay their last respects to Mr Tata with tear-filled eyes.

As per reports, Home minister, Amit Shah will represent the government of India at the funeral, which will take place with full state honours. The mortal remains will be taken on the final journey at 4 pm. According to a statement from Tata Trust:
“We will request the members of the public to enter NCPA Lawns from Gate 3 and the exit will be at Gate 2. There will be no parking available at the premises. At 4 pm, the mortal remains will embark on its final journey to the Prayer Hall at the Worli Crematorium, Dr E Moses Road, Worli for the final rites.”
Ratan Tata was undergoing treatment for a critical condition and was in the ICU in Mumbai. It was on October 9, 2024, when the icon breathed his last at the age of 86. It was the RPG chairman, Harsh Goenka, who announced the demise of Mr. Tata. In his tweet on X, he wrote:

The Maharashtra government has declared one day of mourning in the wake of Ratan Tata’s death. No state celebrations will be held, and the national flag will be flown at half-mast in all government buildings.
