Rashmika Mandanna is a big star now and needs no introduction, but there was a time when she and her parents were struggling to survive due to the financial crisis. Once, in an old interview with the Hindustan Times, Rashmika opened up about her childhood and growing years. The actress revealed that she never takes her success for granted, as she has seen her parents struggle to pay house rent. Not only this, Rashmika also added that right from an early age, she had seen the financial crisis, which is the reason why she spends money with a lot of care. She said:

"I have been on the other side. There was a time when we would move homes every two months. I have been conscious of these things (struggles) ever since I was a child. I am taking the liberty of recalling how they used to find it hard to search for a place for us to live in and pay those rents."

Further, in the same interview, Rashmika Mandanna admitted that although they were struggling financially, but her parents never said 'no' to her for anything. However, she was intelligent enough to understand her family's situation, which was why she never asked for anything from them. Rashmika admitted that her parents were unable to buy toys for her during her childhood, and those memories are the reason for her humility. She explained:

"In my heart, I am still that girl who could not even buy a toy. I respect the money I earn, the love I receive and the acknowledgement that I get as an actor. My childhood memories don't let me take my success lightly, because I know this will not last forever."
