Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda were recently spotted on a discrete lunch date in Mumbai just after the release of Sikandar, Rashmika's much-anticipated film alongside Salman Khan. The actors kept their outing low-key to avoid media glare, but the shutter bugs quickly caught on and seeing them together once again ignited speculations about their relationship.

Rashmika Mandanna’s highly anticipated film Sikandar, co-starring Salman Khan, premiered in theatres on March 30, 2025, on the occasion of Eid. Shortly after the film's release, a video surfaced on social media showing the actress arriving for a discreet lunch date with her rumored boyfriend, Vijay Deverakonda.

Rashmika was the first to arrive, keeping it casual in a brown crop top and denim pants, paired with a cap and mask to avoid attention. However, photographers quickly recognised her and requested a picture. Choosing to maintain her privacy, she simply waved and clicked pictures with some fans before heading inside the restaurant.

Shortly after, Vijay Deverakonda arrived through the back entrance, seemingly trying to avoid the paparazzi. However, despite his efforts to stay low-key with a beanie and mask, the Arjun Reddy star was quickly recognised. Dressed casually in a half-sleeved shirt and cream-toned pants, his discreet arrival only added to the ongoing speculation about his rumored romance with Rashmika.

Speculation about Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda's relationship has been making headlines for quite some time. Reports suggest that rumors of their romance began in 2023 when they were spotted vacationing together in the Maldives. While neither has officially confirmed their relationship, their frequent public outings, lunch dates, and cryptic social media posts continue to fuel curiosity.

The duo has often shown mutual admiration and support for each other. Rashmika is frequently seen sporting merchandise from Vijay's brand, Rwdy, and spending time with his family. Eagle-eyed fans have even noticed that some of Rashmika’s Instagram photos feature backgrounds strikingly similar to Vijay Deverakonda’s house, further adding to the speculation.

Adding to the buzz, Salman Khan recently sparked speculation about Rashmika Mandanna’s possible wedding during the Sikandar trailer launch event in Mumbai, subtly hinting at her alleged relationship with Vijay Deverakonda. Despite the ongoing rumors, neither Rashmika nor Vijay has addressed the speculations, further fueling intrigue. Their every move continues to be a hot topic among fans and the media alike.

In November 2024, Vijay Deverakonda revealed in a chat with Curly Tales that he is in a relationship and, like everyone else, plans to marry and settle down in the future. While he avoided naming anyone, his statement fueled ongoing speculations about his connection with Rashmika Mandanna. Later, in a Bombay Times interview, he stated he would share details when he felt ready. He shared:

"I will talk about it when I am ready, when I think that the world needs to know, and I want to share it with everyone. There needs to be a reason, a purpose and a time for it. So, on such a day, I will happily share it with the world in my way." 

On the professional front, Rashmika is riding high on Sikandar’s release, while Vijay is gearing up for his upcoming film, Kingdom, which is set to hit theaters on May 30, 2025.
