While the couple chose to remain tight-lipped about their wedding, multiple reports related to it have surfaced online. Recently, reports surfaced claiming that the couple was approached by streaming giant, Netflix with a lucrative offer of Rs. 60 crore for the exclusive rights to stream their wedding. However, they rejected the offer. Now, finally, Rashmika has seemingly put an end to all gossip.

Bollywood Hungama has recently confirmed the wedding of Rashmika Mandanna and her fiance, Vijay Deverakonda. The portal claimed that they reached out to the The Girlfriend actress and sent a congratulatory message for her wedding with longtime beau, Vijay Deverakonda. In reply, Rashmika said "Thank you" with a smiley emoji, putting an end to all speculations surrounding her marriage to Vijay. The couple is all set to get married soon on February 26, 2026.

According to the same outlet, no one from the Telugu or Hindi film industry has been invited to the couple’s wedding as the duo planned it to be a very small, private ceremony. However, they will host two grand receptions in Hyderabad and Mumbai for their friends and colleagues. The two have taken a short break from their work, but Rashmika will get back to work soon after her big day, reported Bollywood Hungama.

Recently, during a media interaction, Rashmika’s Kirik Party co-star, Pramod Shetty, spoke about the rumoured wedding of Rashmika and Vijay. Pramod shared that he hasn’t been invited to the wedding. Reportedly, Rashmika’s ex-fiance, Rakshit Shetty, who was also part of the film, Kirik Party, hasn’t been invited. Pramod added that he knew that the actress would not invite him and Rakshit to the wedding ceremony. According to Pinkvilla, Pramod was quoted as saying:

"I haven't received Rashmika's wedding invitation yet. If I get it, I'll go. We know she won’t invite us, nothing new. As for Rakshit Shetty, he’s not a kid eating chocolate and sitting around feeling guilty about it."

The buzz surrounding Rashmika and Vijay’s marriage has been circulating for some time now. In December 2025, a source close to the much-loved couple told Hindustan Times that the duo’s wedding had been planned to take place on February 26, 2026. The insider mentioned that the wedding ceremony will be held at a palace in Udaipur. They added that the couple had planned to keep their wedding low-profile just like their engagement. For the uninitiated, Rashmika and Vijay got engaged secretly in October 2025. The source was quoted as saying:

"Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding is planned to take place on February 26 at a palace in Udaipur. They have finalised one of the heritage properties. Much like their engagement, the plan is to keep the wedding as intimate as possible with only their loved ones in attendance."

Rashmika crossed paths with Vijay at the time, when she had a split with Rakshit Shetty. The Girlfriend actress was engaged to Rakshit on July 3, 2017. However, the former couple called off their engagement in September 2018. After her split, Rashmika gave love another chance. Although, Rashmika and Vijay never confirmed their relationship, their on-screen and off-screen chemistry was clear to state that they have been dating since 2018. The duo has worked in two films, Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. They will be next seen in the film, Ranabaali. The upcoming film will be their third collaboration.
