Rasha Thadani is the daughter of film actress, Raveena Tandon. At the young age of 19, she has already been winning hearts with her performance in Uyi Amma, and we can't wait to see her act in her debut film, Azaad. The film is being directed by Abhishek Kapoor and stars Ajay Devgn's nephew, Aaman Devgan.
Rasha Thadani has been busy promoting her debut film, Azaad. During an interview with Filmygyan, the actress addressed the subject of her being compared with Boney Kapoor-Sridevi's daughters, Jahnvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan-Gauri Khan's daughter, Suhana Khan. Responding to a comment which said, "Janhvi, Khushi aur Suhana ko takkar dene aayi Raveena Tandon ki beti Rasha Thadani." Rasha stated that the three actresses are more experienced than her and have done more work than her. She was quoted saying:
"I think they are all more experienced than me. They have done more work than I have. They have already completed films and had their releases. So, I think there's something I can actually learn from them. They have had more experience, so I don't think it's like that."
Rasha Thadani drew attention when she was announced as the female lead in Azaad. Fans of her mother, Raveena Tandon, were excited to see what spark the actress' daughter brought. Rasha stood up to par and was able to grab eyeballs with her dance number in the film. However, while some fans compared her performance in the song Uyi Amma to Katrina Kaif's iconic song, Chikni Chameli, others felt that her dance moves were only 'average.'
Janhvi Kapoor is the daughter of Boney Kapoor and the late legendary actress, Sridevi. She made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's Dhadak and since has starred in several films like Devara Part-I, Mili, Roohi, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, and more. The actress is loved for her intellect and transparency by her fans. She will next be seen in the Varun Dhawan starrer, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.
Khushi Kapoor is the younger daughter of producer, Boney Kapoor and Sridevi. She made her debut in the Netflix film, alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's daughter, Suhana Khan, in Zoya Akhtar's The Archies. However, the duo was heavily criticized for their acting in the film. Nonetheless, it didn't stop the actresses, and Khushi is now set to star alongside Aamir Khan's son, Junaid Khan, in Loveyapa. Meanwhile, Suhana will appear alongside her father, Shah Rukh Khan, in Siddharth Anand's King.

Azaad is an adventurous historical drama directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor. It stars Ajay Devgn, Diana Penty, and newcomers Aaman Devgn and Rasha Thadani. It is scheduled to hit theatres on January 17, 2025.
