Bollywood actor, Ranveer Singh is one of the most successful and stylish actors in Indian cinema right now. The actor had made his acting debut in Bollywood with the film, Band Baaja Baaraat, opposite Anushka Sharma, and it turned out to be a blockbuster. Ranveer Singh Style

In 2013, Ranveer Singh appeared on Karan Johar's famous celebrity talk show, Koffee With Karan, along with his Gunday co-star, Arjun Kapoor. During the course of the show, when Ranveer was asked to recall the days when he was studying in the US, the actor shared a surprising anecdote about the same. Ranveer revealed that he used to serve coffee at Starbucks while he was studying in Indiana. The actor admitted that he used to work there as a part-time employee to get some extra bucks for himself. Recalling the same, Ranveer also opened up about the female attention he used to receive from Jewish girls. He had said:

"I used to keep my hair (points to shoulder) that long, (they used to be) all tanned. I used to look distinctive. There were all these hot Jewish girls who used to take coffee to class every morning, and they used to be like "Oh my God! the guy behind the counter is so exotic-looking. He's like such a dreamboat"

Going further in the revelation about his time serving coffee at Starbucks, Ranveer Singh shared that he used to speak like the character 'Apu' from the famous animated show, The Simpsons. Revealing the reason behind it, the actor explained that girls used to find his Indian accent appealing, and that was the reason behind it. He had stated:

"I used to purposely put on an Indian accent because they used to find it very appealing. I used to talk like Apu from 'The Simpsons'."

In 2022, Ranveer Singh had graced the popular celebrity comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show to promote his film, Jayeshbhai Jordaar. During his visit to the show, the dapper actor unfolded a series of revelations about the time when he was studying in the US. One such revelation was when Ranveer opened up about the unique barter system he used to have with his classmates during that time. The actor recalled how he used to cook butter chicken and other Indian delicacies for the Indian and Pakistani students, as they used to miss their homeland foods. Recalling the same, he had said:

"I would often cook food and barter it for work. These students who were from Delhi, Lahore would often miss home, studying abroad. There, the food was bland, not spicy and mazedaar like ours. I then strategised. I thought I'll cook food for them and in exchange, they would help me with my homework and things like that. I would make such delicious butter chicken that there would be a line outside my door for it. The secret behind it was that I would use a readymade packet… I would pour that; add a little butter and chicken and my delicacy was ready."

For the unversed, Ranveer Singh has been happily married to his soulmate and actress, Deepika Padukone, for the last three years, as they had tied the marital knot on November 14, 2018.
