Bollywood actor, Ranveer Singh is currently busy promoting his upcoming film, Jayeshbhai Jordaar. In the film, the actor will be seen yet again in a completely different character, as he is going to portray the character of a traditional Gujarati man, who believes and fights for equality in terms of rights for both men and women. The film's trailer looks promising, and Ranveer will be seen opposite Arjun Reddy fame, Shalini Pandey, who is one of the most prominent actresses in South Indian cinema.

Now, in a recent video clip from the upcoming episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, Ranveer Singh opened up about how he had taken revenge on Kapil for addressing his wife, Deepika Padukone, as 'Deepu' for the last 10 years. The revelation left everyone, including the show's host, Kapil, in splits, and the promo video is doing rounds on the internet.

This weekend's episode of the comedy reality show, The Kapil Sharma Show, is going to be a humourous ride, filled with tons of high-voltage drama as the industry's most energetic actor, Ranveer Singh is all set to appear on the show. The actor is coming to the show to promote his upcoming film, Jayeshbhai Jordaar. In the promo video shared by the show's makers, Ranveer can be seen sitting with his co-star, Shalini Pandey, as they looked stunning in their respective outfits. However, the promo featured a special segment from the show in which Ranveer opened up about how he had taken the perfect revenge from Kapil for addressing his wife, Deepika Padukone, by the nickname, 'Deepu' almost for the last 10 years. In the video, Ranveer can be heard saying:

"10 saal se Deepu Deepu, main bhi dekh raha hu. Esi leye jab Kapil ki shadi ho rahi thi. Toh maine kaha baby tu (Deepika Padukone) aur main saath jaaenge Kapil ki shaadi mein."

Well, Ranveer Singh got his sweet revenge in the best possible way, and it also speaks volumes about his love for his ladylove, Deepika Padukone. The Bajirao Mastani actor never feels shy from showing his possessive side in public and wins everyone's heart for his expressive nature. Time and again, we have seen him expressing his immense love for his wife in public. For instance, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Ranveer had shared that inspiring women were around him since his childhood. From his dearest mommy, Anju Bhavnani, his loving sister, Ritika Bhavnani, to his wife, Deepika Padukone, the actor had explained how ladies in his life had been his loudest cheerleaders. He had explained:

"Whatever I am today, I am because of the women in my life, I have been surrounded with very strong feminine forces and energies right from my childhood and throughout my life. I wouldn't call them my support system; they are literally the centre of my universe."

Going further in the conversation, Ranveer Singh had heaped praises on his actress-wife, Deepika Padukone and his mother, Anju Bhavnani and had revealed that they are the reason he is getting successful in life. The doting husband had melted our hearts again as he had addressed his wife, Deepika, as 'the wind' beneath his wings. Ranveer could be quoted as saying:

"My mom means everything to me, my sister is like a second mother to me, my wife is the wind beneath my wings, and even my team is constituted by mostly women, and they are the reason I am able to do what I am able to do. So, more than just about anyone else, I want them to see this film and experience it. I am really happy that I got this opportunity, where I could, through my art, express my gratitude to all the women in my life for making me who I am."

On the professional front, Ranveer Singh's much-awaited film, Jayeshbhai Jordaar will hit theatres on May 13, 2022.
