Keeping his witty nature intact, Ranveer's recent stint as the host of the 67th Wolf777news Filmfare Awards created a lot of buzz recently. Taking up the role of the host, he entertained the attendees through his amusing banter, and also spoke about his experience of returning to the Filmfare stage after a long gap of two years.
While his unending energy fuelled the rest of the award night, it is one of his statements while hosting which grabbed the attention of the netizens shortly. He spoke about the big fat Indian weddings that occurred during the course of the last one year. He mentioned his colleagues Vicky, Varun And Alia for their big days, and congratulated them on the same.

Speaking of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding, Ranveer shared that his whole family loved the idea of an intimately private ceremony hosted by the adorable couple. However, taking a dig at the wedding, he also mentioned that the couple surely must have saved a lot of money on food. He said:
“Alia-Ranbir’s wedding was the best. It was small, intimate and cosy. They saved so much money when it came to food. My Sindhi dad is also very happy with their wedding.”

Keeping it all in the fun and amusing mode, he also mentioned his dear friend and colleague, Varun Dhawan. He hillariously remarked Varun for behaving like a one-man marketing agency at Ranbir and Alia's wedding.
Well, Ranveer is known for his brutally honest confessions, and he never shies away from speaking his mind. For instance, he never hides his love for his gorgeous wife, Deepika Padukone and often shares the same out in public. For instance, in his OTT debut show, Ranveer vs Wild, along with the talented Bear Grylls, he openly spoke about the love-at-first-sight moment with his wife, Deepika. Talking about the same, he had said:
"I met her in 2012. In our first reading and I'll never forget, the doorbell rang, and I looked like that, and these big, wooden doors opened, and she was wearing all-white and the breeze blew just at that time. It was almost like time had slowed down."
On the work front, Ranveer will be next seen in the movie, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
